Neighborhood: Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.

Nice little street cafe. Fairly quick and very pleasant service. Food was really nice, we had hot sandwiches that were tasty and. It too expensive. Wide range of beers and decent wine selection.

Had several meals, seeing it was just blocks away from our airbnb. Great neighborhood! Away from tourists, although did meet someone from Texas and spent a great evening with them. We had pizza one night, sangria, great Belgium beer, hamburger, salad and tappas. The hot chocolate was fabulous.

Great location and good tapas

We went here after Park Guell and had a great meal. It is the standard tapas fare but done well. The staff were really friendly and were happy to organise a mixed plate of Jamon and queso at request, which was not on the menu, for us. They also offer a good selection of tap beer, much more than the usual Spanish brands.

It was perfect to spend an afternoon in a quaint Spanish plaza, especially after the hordes of tourists you have to wade through at Park Guell. Highly recommend.
