Book it! just a great way to spend your afternoon, you can learn as much as you want. Some of the people joining had less interest in getting proficient spanish cooks but we all had a great time and enjoyed a great meal that we call cooperated in putting together. Mariangeles did a great job at getting everyone doing something throughout the class, whilst keeping us all very jolly and informed.

Our tour guide booked this for us and we weren’t sure what to expect. So far I have to say it has been one of the best experiences of our trip! Theresa was amazing as she guided us through the farmers market in Barcelona, explaining all the items that we would be using for the food we were to prepare. It was a great way to start. Alfredo was the perfect teacher as we prepared the food that he had planned out for us. We were two couples and there were three other English speaking couples in our group, and we all had a part in preparing some of the food. We all bonded over wine and food and a good time e was had by all. Can t wait to try out what we learned when we return home. This is definitely an experience all would enjoy and I urge anyone going to Barcelona to try it out!

I can't say enough positive things about this experience. Janelle was a great tour guide and teacher; she made bringing the meal together fun and fully immersive, as we had to engage each of our senses throughout it. It was cool to get to "learn the ropes" and see the sights at La Boqueria before the class so that we could know how to navigate it upon our return later. The tapas, wine and sherry we were served as the class began were wonderful. I never thought I'd try and actually enjoy octopus, but I did. With Janelle's guidance and instruction, we made paella, bread with tomato, tortilla and Catalon cream. If I do say so myself, we did a good job. :-) This is a great activity for anyone looking to do something different and engaging.
