This is the best way to see the sights and get your bearings. Our guide was Adam - he made the journey fun and his knowledge of the city was remarkable... don't take the slow bus - book a tour and ride around Barça... you won't regret it¡

Our family did a Fat Tire Bike Tour in Barcelona this morning and have to say we all had a brilliant experience. Our kids (aged 11-15 yrs) from Sydney, were totally engaged all morning and us adults were able to just go along with the flow. We cycled all over Barcelona, learnt so much of this wonderful city's history and... More

As a first timer in Barcelona I had no idea about where to go or how to navigate my way around the city. My boyfriend and I had completed the city bike tours with Fat tyre in Berlin and Paris and were really looking forward to seeing Barcelona the same way! Once again, fat tyre knocked it Out the park!... More

We love bike tours because they always give us a great overview and orientation of the city. This was no exception! A highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Adam was a great guide and gave us loads of great information and insight into the history of Barcelona and Catalonia. We saw many of the major sites and got a bit... More

My husband and I took the bike tour on 2nd January with 10 other tourists. Our guide was Adam and he did a great job of showing us the highlights of the city accompanied with extensive knowledge of the history and culture delivered in a fun and interactive way. He answered all questions with 'insider' information and also recommended additional... More

Nicky was an amazing guide, and Barcelona is an amazing city. I highly recommend the trip. However, I am a father of 3, with a 3-year old. The bike seat for our 3 year old son had broken foot straps. The back tire was also a bit low on air. And on the trip, 2 other travellers had problems with... More

We booked it online which was super easy. Prepaid it but you can also pay on the day of your trip. We had 2 teenagers with us and 4 years old. Our guide was Niki and she was excellent!! The bikes were OK. At the beginning there is more walking and stopping but than you get to drive and see... More

Booked this tour after researching online and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Our guide Dicken was excellent - he was informative, funny and very amenable to answering questions during the tour and about Barcelona in general. At the end of the tour, he gave additional recommendations about restaurants and other attractions to see. I recommend doing... More

Benja, our guide, gave a nice historical context while providing an overview of the layout of the city. It helped that he has roots both in Barcelona and the U.S. He was very safety conscious when transitioning from bike lanes to streets, which was appreciated by less experienced cyclists. Also, a great sense of humor. Take this trip on your... More

Bike tours are a great way to see a city and this was no exception. Our guide Adam did a super job of showing us round, keeping us all together and giving us an interesting insight into the history of Barcelona in both an informative and witty way. He had excellent knowledge and delivered the tour really well. Six out... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
