Address
Neighborhood: El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Visited this place before our night out. Its huge and there plenty of room to sit. Cocktails are cheap so could have quite a few pre drinks before going clubbing. Did not have the food but it looked delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Okay, I’m going to cut to the chase. If you wanna buy 5 litres of beer or sangria, fill up your own cups and encourage your friend to drink them really quickly to the point that he... loses his lunch so to speak... then this is the place for you! Good prices. Lots of seats. Great interior.

Little dark dive bar that is just off of Las Ramblas. They had the best and strongest cava in Spain! You cannot taste the alcohol but you will definitely feel it later :)
About €12 for a pitcher and they will give you free popcorn to munch on. We Did not try any of their food.
NOTE: We went back on a Sunday evening and a pitcher only cost 7 Euros. Maybe it was happy hour?

What´s not to like: cheap beer and sangria, free popcorn, lots of seating space and a laid-back vibe, just metres off La Rambla !

We went to this bar with our college kids, fun place, good mix of students and younger crowd. Buy beers either by the glass or large serving pitchers. A cool place

This places is well-known for all the people from Barcelona. You will find a good atmosphere (hundred of people talking while they are drinking beer in a healthy atmosphere).
Normally, people order some big beers or big sangria because the cost is cheap.
If you want to meet someone, there could be a good places. Lot of people, lot of different cultures, you will have fun.

La Ovella Negra is an excellent place to chill, relax and to enjoy in gallons of traditional Sangria. Atmosphere and the ambience were great, as well as the staff. I would recommend it to everyone! ;) :) Gracias por todo!

If you want to spend your evening with students in a lively (and noisy!) pub, this is just the place to be.
Order your bucket of beer or sangria, get a couple of glasses so you can share and just relax and mingle with the local and international students that you will find here in numbers.
We were here with our kids who are at university, and we all had a great time here.
