It had opened since last November and still not many tourists go to this place. I love this casa, it reflects the early work of Guadi and his creativity to use up all kinds of brick to build up an extraordinary house. You need to...More

Visited CV in the morning in late June and I was highly impressed, it being Gaudi's first commision it is a taste of the buildings he went onto conjour up and produce. What is beautiful apart from the rolms themselves and the absolutely stunning small...More

This house only opened in November 2017, and as yet is not completely overrun with tourists like everywhere else you go in Barcelona, however I suggest you get in quick because as word gets out this won't last! Until the end of August you get...More

We were so glad we got to visit the first home Gaudi ever designed. It is a short tour, but provides great insight into the mind and vision of an architectural genius. This gem of a house has not been open to the public for...More

Casa Vincent is not to be missed by any Gaudi fans. We drove on a Saturday morning and found a number of car parks close to it despite the fact that there are lots of roadworks in this area. We arrived earlier than our booked...More

I couldn't take enough pictures! It's wonderful the way the walls meet the ceilings of every room in a different way. I especially like how taken individually, many of the choices are so busy with pattern but when you put it all together it really...More

On my previous visits to Barcelona, Casa Vicens was not yet opened. If you want to understand how Gaudi developed, however, this is a must. The themes he uses throughout his career are found here in this lovely summer home. The tour was enlightening, enjoyable...More

If you have time and want to go deeper into Gaudí's houses, or if you are in Garcia, then Casa vicens is right for you. It's not Gaudi's most beautiful house and it's relatively simpler. Part of it was built and remodeled in a more...More

Casa Vicens has recently opened to the public and gives probably one of the best insights into Gaudi as this is his first architectural commission. Despite still being very over-the-top, this is very different to the more boombastic styles of Casa Batllo, Sagrada Familia and...More

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th
century. Though it’s just a short commute away from
the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the

They are different. I have visited Casa Battlo and a number of Gaudi's other works in the past (and the works of other Catalan modernista masters like Puig i Cadafalch, Domenech i Montaner). Many of their works are... More

In the end I booked ahead a couple of days before hand as there was a 20% discount. We turned up early and they let us in without any problems. It was very quiet. I think in March, if you keep an eye on advance bookings... More
