We stopped here as it was conveniently located. I wish we chose somewhere else. The food was average at best and the service was downright rude and pretentious. These folks seem to have lost their understanding that they are employed to serve the customer.
My boyfriend and I were told 2 tapas dishes each, as we were extremely hungry we ordered 5 and a tomato bread. That was the perfect amount for us, as the portions are fair but not overly generous.
Cocktails and wines were nice!
It was really good food, and our waiter Jose provided excellent service and good Spanish lesions. The muga rioja white wine was really good. Only downside was the light, little bit to strong. Really recommend this place!
We wanted some place where we could relax after walking around a lot and getting on and off the hop-on-hop off. Both HOHOs are very close. This is pretty much at the top of Las Ramblas, so the location is good, and just outside Catalunya...More
Nuria's menu really appealed to us as there was such a wide variety of dishes available and it is a well establish restaurant (opened in 1926).
Upon arrival we were greeted by Alvaro who advised there would be a 5 minute wait to be seated....More
We came from a tour outside Barcelona. And when our bus reached Catalunya, suddenly it rained hard...we stopped in front of Nuria and we saw a lot of people inside the restaurant. Luckily, we got seats and served immediately. Though very busy the waiters were...More
Burger pretty average; English breakfast quite nice although not really an English breakfast. That’s more issue with the naming and the actual food which was pretty tasty.
The staff didn’t seem particularly pleased to see us when we arrived and were fairly inattentive. We waited...More
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
