If you don't have enought time to go to Montserrat, you can go there and see her. The church is quite beautifull in the Barri Gotic, so i strongly recommend it.

This was the hidden gem of our trip. The church itself is beautiful but the highlight of a visit is paying 2€ to climb the very narrow, very dark winding steps to the roof where your reward is a 360 degree view of the city....More

Gorgeous church in a great location. Easy walk from the cruise ships if you are on a cruise. The architecture is amazing in the centuries old church. The statues on the side altars are interesting and have much detail. Make sure you visit each side...More

This church is an one of the most beatiful I have seen in all my trips. It is smaller than the Cathedral, but also in a Gothic style. There is no fee to visit without a guide, and a few turists go there. It is...More

The basilica is roughly located in the center of the Ancient Roman settlement, near the forum. At the place where the present building stands there was a Visigoth church from the IV century which was certainly replaced by a Romanesque temple. The construction of the...More

What a lovely basilica tucked away in the Gothic quarter. Lovely aerial view from the bell tower for only 2 euros, that is a steal. The best 2 euros you'll spend!

Great little church tucked away, wouldn't find it if you didn't know it was there! In a beautiful little plaza too. Highly recommend to climb the bell tower for the best view in Barcelona!

A lovely chapel in a quiet square just south of Cathedral. For 2 euros you can climb up an ancient bell tower and get a great view of Barcelona.

This basilica has a quiet beauty. Its greatest appeal, to me, are the stained-glass windows that project colored sunbeams along the floors and columns. The interior architecture is perfectly designed to optimize colorization from the passing light. Lovely! There is also some wonderful sculpture in...More
