Excellent experience

I had a good time with all people and Marta. It is a special and unique experience in Barcelona. I really enjoy it. Hope I can cook the same paella in my hometown.

Totally loved this! Met a lot of great people, we helped cook, etc. Marta is very entertaining and knowledgeable about cooking and health. A truly unique experience that shouldn't be missed :)

I cannot recommend this class more highly. It was amazing. I wanted to take a paella class in Barcelona during my visit. My husband and I were there for the month of November, and we had friends visiting from the states. We wanted something fun and memorable to do with them outside of the general must see's. I found this... More

A girlfriend and I took Marta's cooking class as a recommendation from another friend who'd done so previously. The experience was highly enjoyable and Marta is a wonderful teacher. There are so many memorable take away's from our trip, but Marta's paella class is our top! We purchased a paella pan post class and recently made the first of our... More

My Friend and I went to Marta's class. One of the most memorable things we did on our trip. Marta was an amazing teacher. We made an amazing seafood paella.

We were in Barca early October and had pre - booked Marta's class. We loved the idea of doing the class in the intimate surroundings of Marta's home - easy to find her apartment in a nice area of the City and there are some lovely bars locally to catch a pre or post paella drink ! Marta made it... More

My wife surprised me with this on our recent trip to Barcelona. We walked up to a classic old apartment building, stumbled around several floors in the rickety elevator, then finally heard Marta up on the top floor tell us to come up! I wasn't sure what my wife got us into, but it turned out to be the most... More

My wife and I took this class and has a delicious time! Marta was a fun and friendly host and treated us and our other class members to a great experience. She explained everything we we did and we all shared the experience of making a delicious paella!

Marta welcomed us to her home for a paella class. This was the best way to get to know Barcelona (fantastic view) and the traditions. And also a nice evening with new friends!

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
