The sailing excursion with Captain Dave was absolutely amazing!! Besides the experience of being on his beautiful sailboat, he was so knowledgeable and willing to teach us about navigating it! The perfect finale was the amazingly delicious tapas platter on the boat deck to enjoy the atmosphere. We would 100% recommend this excursion to anyone wanting to see Barcelona's view from the sea, a must-do!!

Wow even though it was nice and warm when we left the port it got cold at sunset. The colors of the sky were amazing and we were promised a good sunset because of the time of year apparently. Nice to talk with captain Dave at the end, he knows lots about sailing. I'll bring lots of friends next time. Thanks Dave!

I'm new to the water but i go sailing with captain Dave after reading other reviews. It was such a good time on a classic sailing boat built in Sri Lanka which is where I'm from. I enjoyed learning a lot and the peacefulness of the sea. You can see all of Barcelona from the sea. I recommend this sailing trip to anyone, a sailor or not. Thanks Dave and good luck with your spirit of the sea sailing project, its a nice idea.

What a great introduction to sailing! Beautiful boat accompanied by an incredibly knowledgeable crew. Having Barcelona city and the Sagrada Familia as a backdrop topped off this trip! Dave allowed me to get involved in assisting with putting up the sails and what a great experience it is to watch and partake in all of this happening. Sailing is an art form and I have a new found appreciation for the effort that goes into true sailing. Today with all the high speed motor boats and yachts it's lovely to be able to say quite literally "let's see where the winds take us." Enjoyable for all ages, Dave has something for everyone, from the action involved in tacking, to the peaceful drifting with the wind. Definitely recommend if you're in Barcelona, even if only for a weekend!

Hey Jay, Your review is super appreciated thank you, as it was my pleasure to have you onboard. It was a technical sailing day with all the other boats around, and I was happy to have a helping hand on a day when there seemed to be boats all around us, sailing in many directions. I do like to insist that everyone gets involved as much or as little as they like because people enjoy sailing in a variety of ways. More than happy to receive you onboard when you come back to Barcelona! Regards Dave

2nd time sailing with Dave and this time with my girlfriend. We visited Barcelona together and I booked a trip with Dave having had such a great time in 2019 with my parents. Dave was a great host and his new boat is beautiful and full of character. I can't believe that it can be so beautiful in February with sunshine and enough wind to pick up some speed sailing. Dave is passionate about the boat and happy to teach you about sailing, a real treat. It's even better to know that some of the money goes to protect the marine environment. Thanks Dave for a great trip.

Thanks for the very kind words Matthew, It is a great time of year to sail as the conditions can be perfect, It was good fun getting everyone involved on the tiller, as we plotted our way through a fair amount of boat traffic. Sailing tours in Barcelona can certainly be enjoyed all year round by couples, families and friends for sure. Hope to see you again soon! Dave
