Slow is an intimate, open and versatile venue that is a cocktail bar, boîte and a private room. Located in the centric Eixample neighbourhood, it has two floors and three rooms. Slow is more than a cocktail or drinks bar or a club. It is a place where we take care of every detail, where all is about being comfortable and unhurried. Hence, Slow. With a lush combination of vibrant reds and violets, the decoration of the Cocktail Room is subtle tribute through a vintage lens to the former clubs of the golden age of cocktails in New York, only this time in Barcelona. An upgraded classic look, both intimate and refined. In short, a space with extraordinary character where you can enjoy elaborate cocktails sitting at the bar or in comfy sofas, tables and poufs. The intimate rock & roll fantasy look of the Candy Box is reminiscent of a small opera foyer with red velvet walls dimly lit by LEDs. The murals of our own creation come to life and show the very essence of Slow.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Visited here and it did not disappoint. You pay £10 to get in but that goes towards a drink. I say 'Towards' as we paid £20 to get in and got a gin and tonic and a cocktail and it didn't cover it. Gin and tonic was made the traditional Barcelona way and cocktail was a French Martini. Very tasty but a lot sweeter than my partners ideal version of a French Martini. Decor and atmosphere downstairs was really lovely.

We ended up here after we asked in a local restaurant a good place to go with music. The cocktails were great, music good, a few creepy guys (that were put off on our behalf by the bar managers brother *thanks Oscar!) We stayed until 4 am, but open till 6. We had a really great time!

I went with a few friends in july and have to say some of the best cocktails I've had. The barman was excellent and the bar has a nice deco. Only thing is that we went at 9pm and it was a bit empty but like everything in barca the nightlife gets going later in the eve. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Bought tickets through Resident Advisor and I had the choice of 15 euros and 2 free drinks or 25 euros and 4 free drinks. Opted for the more expensive one. At the door I showed my two tickets and was handed four (poker) coins in different colors. Thought it was different values, so expected I could get a total of 8 drinks for this. when I was inside and after a long time I was able to hang our coats at the toilet (really not convenient, the lady behind the coats was very nice, but the location and passage was really bad. But we came to the conclusion that each coin was worth 1 consumption and so I walk back to the door. I explained that I think I was still entitled to 4 drinks. After a discussion with the person at the door, I got 2 coins from the bouncer and didn't have to be so difficult. I let it go there too, didn't feel like it, but it did show on the tickets that it was really 4 drinks per ticket. Furthermore, small club and I drank the drinks and left, where it took a while to get the jackets back.. Too bad for a New Year's Eve celebration, I had a great time in the rest of Barcelona.

This bar is really trendy, super sophisticated and a must see in Barcelona. I was recommended by another barman for their amazing cocktails. They distill their own gin and the cocktails are super sophisticated.
I ordered a Mezcal cocktail that came with chocolate and a herb. The barman took care to explain (in English- so grateful!) how best to taste the cocktail- chocolate and herb followed by sip of the cocktail.
The bar staff were skilled and obviously passionate about what they do. Great care and attention to detail was taken with every drink. The ambience in the bar is very chilled, upmarket- fab setting for an intimate date or chilled drink with friends.
Cannot recommend enough!

I know the space and have done many events here as a producer. I stopped going a while ago, since we suffered beatings by one of the security guards at the door (only one of them, the big, bald one) and the owners and the entire bar sided with them while they beat us up. my friends. They called my friends anything but pretty, and they pushed them towards the door once the event was over. In a horrible way we left the establishment and I swore never to pass by this place again. I have learned of other similar events and it seemed right to record what happened to me so that it does not happen again.

My experience there was amazing, eclectic people around from transgenders to heavy metals!!! The cocktails were totally awesome, creative and different, thankyou guys specially Fran the headbartender. The first floor runs a club with electro music, what a fly! I recommend to visit that place if you go to barcelona anytime!
