We joined a free walking tour at 2pm and since our English group is too big, we were split into 2 groups and we were with Erik, an American guide who has been in Barcelona for 10 years. Erik is such a funny guy, so...More
Gaudi is a significant symbol of Barcelona so this tour just fits in well. I did it after the Sandeman free walking tour and Sagrada guided tour so found few things being repeated. However, it's not the guide's fault (Josh, if I am not wrong)...More
Macarena was a lovely, charismatic tour guide who made everyone feel welcome. We learnt a lot about Barcelona’s vast and impressive history. Will definitely be recommending this tour but especially as Macarena as a guide!
A very enjoyable tour with Susi as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and passionate. Her stories relating to the locations visited are likely to remain in my memory bank for a long time especially her reference to tourist asking for the "Sangria Family by...More
We went on a guided cycling tour with tour guide Mike and thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommend. He was incredibly informative, engaging, passionate about the history of Barcelona and brought to light some topical discussions which made the tour interesting- not your typical ‘snoozy lecturing...More
I have been living in Barcelona for almost 7 years and went on this tour with a friend here visiting. I must say that even though I crossed the streets of gótico and raval thousands of time and I’m very familiar with the areas, I...More
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

hi, i have been on several free tours as well, myself and my friends always tip at least 10 euros, maybe a bit more if the tour was really good. however i am a student (read broke) so i dont tip on paid for tours. with sandemans free tours the guides pay sandemans a small fee to be allowed to give the tour so they will lose money if you dont tip so i agree it isnt fair not to tip when its a free tour. xo
