Good beach to enjoy sea time with urban areas around
The beach is one of the primary beaches in the Barcelona. you can find a spot here to enjoy the calmness of the sea waves in day time. You can also find nightclubs to spend your nights nearby, if you feel like clubbing.

    Old Working Class Neighborhood
It's an old and traditional neighborhood located by the sea. It's a flat part of town and is easy to walk around. Has been working class and is dense and full of old apartment buildings. Now it is overwhelmed with tourist. Still, one needs to take a stroll here as it is full of atmosphere.

    Sunny and refreshing!
Barceloneta Beach is the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The sandy beach and refreshing Mediterranean waters are inviting. There are plenty of beachside bars and restaurants to enjoy some tapas and drinks. It can get quite busy, but the atmosphere is lively and fun. A great spot to relax and soak up some sun!

Today being Sunday beaches where packed with sunbathers in bikinis & bathing suits, & even a few swimmers. Though end of April but lovely sun. Great for a long walk and plenty of bars, ice cream parlours as well as restaurants for all tastes & purses. Highly recommended for a walk by the beach promenade or the marina with plenty to see and do. Recommended

Locals will come to the beach with their dogs and let them poop/pee on the sand. I saw a dog owner only covering his dog's poop with sand instead of properly collecting it. I saw many others letting the dogs pee and kids were playing with the sand afterwards. Completely disgusting.

Neighborhood and beach invaded by pak pak, Hindus and I spend sellers on the beach. In short, the beaches of Barcelona are not what they used to be. At the same time it is not possible to indicate in certain districts: “tourists go home” and “foreign welcome”. I put 1 star for the fun side of the beach.

Decent beach. Chair rental stops at5. Not the cleanest but also not filthy. Best for sun bathing as the water is not super clear and is chilly but a quick dip too cool down is good. There are bathrooms and restaurants close by. There is an outdoor gym hers that is fun to watch people pump up!

The most beautiful area in my humble opinion. Next to the sea, with wonderful paths to walk, stores and hotels. Also, if you visit at night time, it has buzzing nightlife!

This is one of the four historical districts that form the old part of the capital of Catalonia. The quarter is located on alluvial lands, as if protecting the port from the east. Until the 18th century fishermen and sailors lived here. Then the territory came under the control of the military, who built it up with low buildings with similar facades.
