We got to hear of this place from a fellow tour participant to Montserrat. He had been recommended this club by his hotel staff, and loved it when he went the night before. We trooped our way there after the tour, and had the most...More
This place was recommended by our hostel and we were not disappointed - the flamenco performers were so amazingly talented. The flamenco show starts at 8.45 and is held on Fridays and Saturdays. The cost is very good value at €10 pp (which also includes...More
This club does flamenco shows on Friday and Saturday nights. It is very very small with very few seats. I would recommend getting there well before the show starts and queuing outside to be sure of getting in. First drink is included in the 10...More
Visiting the city I went on a Sunday when they have pop-rock-blues and people can show their talent too. Very small place, got full and then they removed chairs, what turned the place in a better atmosphere. Had people from all ages, from kids till...More
JazzSi was a real find. If you are looking for a good flamenco show without the heavy price ticket and hard-sell, this small and intimate jazz club provides the perfect answer. Flamenco performances are held only on Friday and Saturday nights but it is worth...More
This is quite small place but intimate place for jazz, flameco, brazilian music. You don't have to book the place beforehand but it is good idea to be there early enough. Music was wonderful and athmophere was relaxed. Good mood.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

As I recall we arrived around 1 hour before. There was only a handful of people lined up and then suddenly MANY. The show lasted until around 10 PM. It was superb. I don't think there is any way to reserve tickets. Also, when you enter pick your seats FAST as they fill up fast. But enjoy. It's a wonderful Bohemian atmosphere and very personable. You can talk to your neighbors.
