I feel this place is criminally underrated. I visited in the afternoon of a weekday and it was relatively quiet. My friend and myself went not knowing what to expect and ended up spending the better most of 3 hours here! Very fun, very interactive, great appeal for kids as well as grownups. Everything is wrote in many languages for tourists to enjoy. Currently looks like they are working on a dinosaur display. The flooded forest section was a particular favourite part. I'd highly suggest this to anyone remotely interested in any form of science, although my friend who isn't so interested in it thoroughly enjoyed herself and how interactive everything is. Great for kids and adults! Unfortunately didn't have time to book the planetarium but it needs to be booked in advance (can be done when buying entry tickets or online) - definitely looked worth it!

Note that about 90% of the exhibits are on the bottom floor so make sure to take your time there and not rush to other floors. We spent 2:30h and I feel like we got to interact with most of the exhibits. Some parts of the museum to be reserved for school activities only. Great place for learning but also just admiring the exhibits. Although I study a scientific subject in uni I still had a lot of fun and managed to discover at least one new fact. The exhibits shine through their interactive nature. The little habitat including trees , fish and birds was gorgeous. Great place for people of all ages who have a curious nature.

This place is amazing! A huge building with umpteen exhibits to suit all ages. The museum has a dinosaur section with some fantastic skeletons, a wildlife area recreating a rainforest with fish/birds/reptiles/mammals and flora. Other areas include the evolution of man, how the human brain and body works and tens of interactive displays from Newton's cradles to sound waves to how volcanoes form. We didn't go in the planetarium as didn't realise it was extra €6 each. The cafe was reasonably priced. The only negative was the half hour queue to pay and the walk up the steep hill to get there (there is a tram/bus though). We spent about 4 hours there and still didn't see it all.

It was really fascinating experience for us both me and my husband. We visited on March 25 at about 16:00 and spent about 10 minutes in line. 6 euro per person only, I would have paid even more. There are fish, plants, an aquarium, animals, dinosaur skeletons, and interactive stands explaining the laws of physics. We spent about three hours at the exhibition. There is also a cafe for snacks, clean toilets, and free lockers for coats or bags.

Visited as a family of 4 with our two children. Had a great time. The exhibits were interactive and interesting, and the kids really enjoyed it, especially the dinosaur bones and the interactive exhibits. Something for everyone there, and the food was reasonably priced and quite tasty at lunch time in the square.

What an amazing science museum this is. So much to see and do with so many interactive displays. It's not just boards of text (though there are information boards explaining the display) but instead it's more like you're doing experiments so that you can understand what it's trying to show. The flooded rainforest in particular is simply amazing. The best museum we've been to and the highlight of our trip to Barcelona
