Relax and tranquility in a place worthy of being visited, in the Born district of Barcelona, where you can breathe an air of modernity and tranquility- The treatment is exquisite, its pools of hot springs, its flotarium, and the possibility of massages make it You forget everything for two hours, all very clean and very tidy. I recommend this place... More

The place is advertised as a sanctuary of peace, tranquility and detox. It's a ticket to relaxation and oriental mysticism away from the city's buzz and daily stress. The location should make you think twice, however, the impressive infrastructure is at Paseo Picasso, one of the most touristic streets attracting locals and random crowds who want to experience the a... I've been to Aire in Barcelona twice, and love the whole baths experience. The salt water bath is great, as is the jacuzzi, and I always enjoy the steam room and sauna, too. After getting massages both times at Aire, I can definitively say that they aren't worth the money there. The masseuses are not as skilled as those at... More

While the treatment at the spa was wonderful... The head ache and nightmare comes after you leave. Before I booked with this "spa" I confirmed that their massage therapists were in fact "RMT's", I was advised that they were. After my treatment, I did not get a receipt. I advised my front desk at the hotel that I would need... More

The most irritating thing about our visit here was that we checked in 20 minutes early (to get out of the cold), then two more couples checked in after us. We waited. A staff member came out and looked at the other two couples and asked them to follow her. She in no way looked in our direction. We waited.... More

So, for 100% this spa - real old Arab bathes- is one of the best thermal center in Spain. The great staff, calming atmosphere, different thermal bathes and treatments. I booked Almond Bliss and WineBath Experience by Esdor. Fantastic! You are drinking wine and wine around you everywhere in the bath, head and neck massage...after bath 1 hour body massage... More

Beautiful spa with a very unique atmosphere. Although the building is not an original building like some other Moorish bathing houses in the country, once you're there you feel like you've been transported to a different era. (The design/ atmosphere/ exposed brick walls and dimly lit pools reminded me of something out of Game of Thrones.) The pools are lovely... More

this place is easily missed as you walk down from the Arc de Triomf, but once inside, its a beautiful venue. They have done a great job of recreating the ambience of an ancient roman baths. Its quiet, peaceful and dimly lit. there are numerous pools, all temperatures, jacuzzi, salted water and a chill out zone with sweet tea and... More

We visited already and enjoyed the AIRe ancient baths in Almeria and Sevilla. The one in Barcelona is just as enchanting, the message was perfect and the atmosphere so relaxing.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
