We visited the Joan Miro museum in the middle of this park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and then walked down to the Columbus statue by the harbor. The park has outstanding vistas and the walk was downhill

Actually stumbled across this place but chance, nothing really to see unfortunately but small maze garden and a lot of areas blocked off to the public

This is a cool spot even if you know nothing about its history just for the views and how well-kept the facility is. When you go through the exhibits, you understand more deeply what it was like to live under Franco. Walking down from the...More

Lots to see at Montjuic and plenty of ways to access it; the views from the top are fabulous and the cable car ride is definitely worth taking. But beware of the distances if, like us, you attempt to walk from the national gallery to...More

The views are spectacular. The cable car ride is like most cable car rides. The place is crowded. The "street" shows are ordinary. Toilets are scarce.

An amazing place surrounded by nature and great restaurants. You can pay €11 for a cablecar or you can just walk through the park up the hill. I walked and although it is a bit of a climb it was well worth it. The views...More

Go for the views. One lazy way to get here is to take the metro to the Paral-lel stop. Follow signs to the funicular to the right of the subway exit- Don’t exit the subway system. The funicular is part of the subway system, and...More

Enjoyable day spent at Montjuic. Recommend taking the funicular up, and then the cable cars to the Castle. We took the cable cars down to Parc de Montjuic and walked down (and took escalators) all the way to the Magic Fountains.

You may need more than one day to see and appreciate what this place has to offer. Long walks with water features and unique flora and fauna. Theres lots of history to read about and its all free for the anyone interested.

Really glad we made time to visit this park area. It's a nice walk up, alternatively you can get the funicular railway up there, would definitely recommend taking the cable car up to the castle, the views are amazing.
