We took the train from Barcelona (Plaza Espana) to Montserrat. The ticket that we bought includes the train, cable car, and 2 rides on the funicular which will take you to a higher point on the mountain or a lower point. It takes about an hour by train, and the ride is lovely, not boring at all. The cable car... More

If you have more than a weekend in Barcelona, Montserrat is a MUST. I take all my friends and family who come to visit, and it is unfailingly one of their highlights. It really has something for everyone, whether you are addicted to mountains or museums, hiking or eating. Without wanting to come across as gushy or make you suspicious... More

This was a day trip via a tour bus. The drive up was breathtakingly beautiful. The rock formations amazing, the views were mesmerizing, as is everything else about this place. It's so worth the visit

The drive by motor coach was very comfortable and we returned to Barcelona by a different route which gave us different scenery on the way back. This is a very interesting tour and we would recommend going to Montserrat.

50km drive from central Barcelona, we purchased the half day package and travelled by comfortable coach. Upon arrival our guide provided historical background of the area. Was hard to pay attention as the panoramic view was just breath taking. We chose the short cable car trip to a look out area further up the mountain but there were options to... More

We vistied Montserrat with the company. They made an average tour with basic information about Montserrat. The coach provided was comfortable, the overall tour was ok, but nothing special.

We walked till the big cross on the hills. You can take a train and then cabin car to get there. We spent there about 3-4 hours, made awesome pictures. The cafe on the top is very expensive.
