The tour left on time and was in Spanish and English. The drive along the mountainside was beautiful but for someone not crazy about heights I kept my gaze averted at times. We stopped and took the train up part of the way and returned the whole way by bus. The views were incredible. The Black Madonna was beautiful. More time would have allowed us to do the 35 minute hike to see the 14 sculptures...but by the time we got the overview by the guide we wanted to see the Black Madonna first and didn't feel we had enough time afterwards.Gift shops were nice.

Consider this tour if your time in Barcelona is limited: Barcelona Sagrada Familia and Montserrat. I booked this through Viator, but you can go directly through INOUTBARCELONATOURS.COM. Pablo was an excellent guide: very knowledgeable, excellent English, with a great personality. The tour started at the breathtaking Montserrat Monastery. We then enjoyed a walking tour of Old Town Barcelona. Our day concluded with a wonderful experience savoring Gaudi’s Sagrada Família. The 25 euros entrance is paid separately. Highly Recommend.

Excellent trip with an excellent knowledgeable guide who was passionate about her subject Amaya. The views are spectacular and the time was perfect unless you want to do some hiking in which case you need more time.

Highly recommend taking this tour! It's an easy drive out of the heart of Barcelona to get here, and rewards with some most scenic views! We were so glad we signed up for this day tour. The day of our visit there was a dance competition (the Catalan Sardana) so that made for a very festive atmosphere and was an added bonus. We were able to tour the monastery, see the Black Madonna, and catch the famous boys choir. If we had more time we would have done some of the hikes (especially the one to the cross) but we still enjoyed the atmosphere of the monastery area, and of course the scenic cable car ride. Sign up for this tour you won't be disappointed!

This is one of the best tours you can take from the city of Barcelona. The scenery you can see on your way to the top, where the Monastery is, is just too awesome. Our guide was very impressive and gave us an details right from the time we st in the bus. The half day tour is just enough for the main Church, and you do not have time to explore the caves or visit the Cross at the very top.
