Incredible collection

It is indeed an incredible collection. So compact and highest quality assortment of Catalonian and European ceramics. I could not make myself leave. And all pieces are beautifully preserved

The museums and palace are closed. Not sure why or for how long so if you come here you will only be able to see the gardens. In my opinion although the gardens are nice they are not worth it if you are coming here especially.

Great museum (and free)
Aug 2012 • Couples
My wife and I stumbled across this museum by accident. Whilst on the T3 tram into Catalunya we noticed the grounds and decided on our final day to take a look. The musuem is a few minutes walk from the front gate and is well worth taking a look! It was extremely interesting and informative. The grounds surrounding the museum are just stunning! Well worth visiting!

One of the Best Ceramic Museums in Spain
Oct 2011 • Couples
The Ceramic Museum is one of the best in Spain. There are medieval pieces from the Caliphate and Mudejar periods (10th to 15th centuries), Mudejar pieces from Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia, Hispano-Moorish earthenware from Paterna and Manises, tableware and tiles from the 15th to 17th centuries, samples from the Rococo period from Alcora, and ceramics from contemporary artists like Picasso. The display rooms are divided by geographical area and there are very good explanations for all the pieces. Explanations are given in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
