A must do for runners in Barcelona!

I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys running and are visiting a new and unfamiliar city. My son and I did the early morning tour and we both agreed it was our one of our favorite activities in our week long visit to Barcelona. Our tour guide, Robin, was absolutely fantastic. We kept a great pace, saw many parts of the city and Robin was by far the most informative guide we had the entire trip. We learned so much and I am so grateful we booked this experience.

What a way to see the city!

What a way to see the city! Neither my sister nor myself had done a running tour previously but we both loved the experience. Our guide Robin collected us from our hotel at 7:30am and off we set. We saw so much of the city from the Gothic areas to the marina, La Rambla, the beach and the park, with masses of interesting historical information supplied by our guide along the way. We saw many sights that we may have just strolled past had we not been guided by Robin. I have visited Barcelona previously but the running tour really allowed us to get to know the city on a different level, especially as we set off as the sun was rising before the hustle and bustle of city life had started.
Was it hot? Yes, but the early start made a big difference.
Was it difficult? Not really. We took it at a steady pace with stops along the way to take in the sights.
Was it worth it? Yes. I saw far more hidden pockets of the city than previous visits.
Would I do it again? Definitely, it was one of the highlights of my weekend.
Did I still manage to party afterwards? I sure did, I earned it!

Beautiful run and unique perspective on Barcelona

What a wonderful, unique experience! Whenever I visit a new city, I enjoy going for a run to get the local flavor and see the place from a different point of view. The biggest challenge is usually figuring out logistics and how to get around; Barcelona is particularly confusing with its windy streets. I had read about running tours in cities around Europe and discovered Running Tours Barcelona. There were a variety of choices, and I chose the Collserola park running tour, because it was a little outside the city, sounded like something different and something I would have trouble navigating by myself. Robin met me at my hotel and we took a brief train ride to the park where the air was fresh, and the sun was setting over spectacular views of the city. It was such a fantastic experience, and I'm so grateful for Robin's knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. 8 miles later I had my runner's high, lots of great pictures, and a new vantage point of the city.

Amazing experience!

It was really amazing!! Robin is a passionate guide who takes his time to tell you all the interesting facts you need to know. The tour is ideal to start your Barcelona visit as it gives you a great overview of the city and helps you focus on the parts you still want to visit up close. The guide also took pictures during the visit that we received by mail. Thank you again Robin for the great experience!

Smart & Sweaty @ the Same Time!

My running tour of Barcelona was fantastic! This was the first time I have done a running tour and Robin made it easy and fun. His knowledge of the city was incredible and he adapted to my pace, ensured I was safe (e.g., not running in the bike lane) and took great pictures along the way. I told a friend after that there is nothing like getting smart and sweaty at the same time! I highly recommend Running Tours Barcelona.

Our tour guide Robin was fantastic. It was our first running tour and we will definitely be doing more. I highly recommend this tour as it was a perfect blend of getting a good run in while learning so much about the city.

Fun, informative, up close sightseeing

Fun morning spent seeing the sights with Robin. He is super informative. We covered the beach, then tracked through the city picking out not just the big landmarks but also visiting lesser known spots. I learned more from my 2hrs 15 with Robin than I did from a full day on a city bus tour. I would recommend to everyone!

A really great experience! Definitely recommended

It was a really great experience to do a running tour with Robin (15k early in the morning, along the beach and then through the city centre). I asked for 'no stops' (because I was in training for a race) and so we did, but Robin talked all the way about all the nice spots we came by. He knows a lot about the city and is also very friendly and supportive. This is definitely one of my favourite activities during my stay in Barcelona. I would recommend it to all runners!

Highly Recommend

As a slower runner and a fairly shy person I was a little nervous to book a one on one running tour. All my reservations went away as soon as I met Robin. He was extremely nice and welcoming and allowed me to set the pace. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona. The 10k flew by and gave me so much to think about and share with my husband for the rest of our stay in the city.

Definitely a Must-Do!

Our trip was five months ago, and we are still talking about our running tour with Robin. It was the perfect way to start our trip, as we got a great overview of the city and plenty of information that we used to plan the rest of the week.
Not only is Robin incredibly knowledgable (we asked a LOT of questions), but he is extremely patient and definitely maintained a pace that was comfortable for us over the 3+ hours of the tour.
It was absolutely a highlight of our trip, and we will book with him again when we return!
