I've been to a few aquarium's before but this has been the best. Location is lovely as you get to enjoy the harbour side which you might not have done otherwise. It's bigger than I expected it to be and the large tank is very...More

Honestly this aquarium has very limited variety and I expected more for the hefty entrance fee. There are just very ordinary displays and the so called, and highly advertised shark tunnel only features a few tiger sharks and sand sharks. If you have visited aquariums...More

Hello, We regret that the visit has not met your expectations. We have more than 11,000 specimens from 450 different species. In the Oceanarium we have 9 sand tiger sharks larger than 3 meters sharing this great aquarium with 80 different species. Best regards,

Nice clean tanks with a good range of fish. We arrived just before the penguin feeding was due, so decided to do that first. Would be nice if there was information to direct you to it via a short-cut as it took us a good...More

A must visit in Barcelona. Situated next to the Harbour, contains an extensive range of fish. The large aquarium is impressive.

I found the selection of the fish quite limited and the overall centre dated for the admission of 20€! I have visited other aquariums, especially in UK and Greece, and they were far bigger and more interactive! However my little daughter enjoyed some fun activities...More

It is not bad, especially for families with kids. I believe it is much better experience for children, who would love to explore and see all the fish and pools. Only thing I think all of the aquariums are really too small, for all of the living...More

Most people may work around the aquarium in awe but as a fish expert, this aquarium is far from acceptable standards. Aquarium are too small and overcrowded not respecting the species needs. There is no adequate environment to enable fishes or pinguins to exert their...More

Like it! There weren’t a lot of fish, but I enjoyed looking at them, because it was obvious that fishes are treated very well there. The water is clean and transparent, some fish are old and have a nice aging. There also were many warnings...More

L’Aquarium de Barcelona (4 Replies)
been reading the reviews of this place not great reviews seems to be one highlight of a main tank and then its very much downhill jsut wondering if anyone has been here limited to time thinking now of going to the olympic stadium any views ?

It's OK for young kids (around 2-5) that never visited other big and impressive aquariums around the world. Since you only have 2 days I would leave out places like the Aquarium or the Olympic stadium as there far better more interesting things to do in Barcelona.
