We decided to pay a visit as we had heard about the great views on offer. There is a Theme Park (at a cost) but this is not compulsory if you just want to see the church and the views. There are a lot of steps to contend with to reach the top of the Church itself, however there is... More

My five year old son and I made the journey up to Tibidabo and very much recommend the more interesting route - going by train (L7 from Placa Catalunya station to Tibidabo station, very easy), the beautiful old blue tram and furnicular railway. We had to ask the tourist office at Placa de Catalunya where the entrance to the train... More

A great day with something for all the family. Easy to get to.... Metro or tourist bus to Tibidabo. Cross the road and get the 196(I think) up the hill and then get the finicular (€7.70) up the mountain. At the top you enter a mix of religion and revelry. There's a magnificent church next to a young child's amusement... More

This is one of the best places when you want to see the whole city from the top. Absolutely beautiful. You can visit this place with your family and with your children.

Yes it's a must as you will see this high point from most of Barcelona (Almost Spain!) - And yes Bus Touristic drop you at the start of the hill so you need to buy transport to go to the top although I'm told 20 minutes walk get you there. (it got us down!) - We waited quite a while... More

Take the metro to Tibidabo, tram on weekends, bus on weekdays to the Funicular and be amazed at what you find on the top

This place is spectacular and makes for a great day out. Catching the funicular was interesting and a fun way to get there (try and sit in the front carriage for great views). Then the views from the top were just amazing. Great place to sit and have a drink. The church was enchanting. There was also a fun park... More
