We were staying at a hotel nearby and they recommended it was worth a quick tour. We were not disappointed. This was Sunday, and we entered just before Mass. It was something quite special to hear the chanting and the beautiful organ in those glorious surrounds. This church does not have the architecture of others in the city, but it... More

Catderal is breathtaking, it is tremendous, big and beautiful, there is nothing that isn't great there. Inside is astounding, the goose outside the Catedral, are nice considering history of this place. This is a must see one of the best places to visit in Barcelona.

We were looking forward to visiting Santa Maria del Mar after reading Falcones novel but in fact were much more impressed by this Cathedral, it's slender gothic arches, the central part reserved to local nobelmen, the adjoining monastery. Do NOT miss this beautiful cathedral!!

The cathedral is in the city center and open to the visitors. There are musicians outside of the cathedral.

We had many different experiences here, all great. Of course the crypt of Santa Eulalia is here and the architecture is wonderful. It was unusual to see an electronic candle station off to the side of the pews. There is nothing like the flickering of real candles, but I guess they haver to keep up with the times and it... More

Lovely gothic cathedral. Persnickety about bare shoulders and uncovered knees. Beautiful construction. Lots of gold and gold plating. Ornamental in the extreme.

Must see cathedral. Keep in mind it is very busy and crowded so you'll have to deal with that. No line to get in though. No short shorts or exposed shoulders allowed so be sure to cover before going.

Just can't beat the location and all it has to offer. Not only is the Cathedral an amazing piece of history to explore but the outside plaza is filled with street musicians, street vendors-who only sell from their designated locations. They are all grouped together under different canopies selling their antiques. A nice little restaurant located outside the Hotel Colon... More

The exterior of the cathedral is captivating; however, the interior, its architecture and the construction of the time it was built is simply captivating. The buildings integrity to withstand the centuries is a testament to the quality of construction to match its beauty. The only recommendation to be made would be to enter early in the morning before the crowds.... More
