Otto Zutz was opened in June 1985, and was a revolutionary new concept in the nightlife of Barcelona. Occupying a textile factory on Lincoln street nº15, recreates the typical New York industrial based on open spaces decorated with hard materials: cement, iron pillars, metal fences, iron beams, etc.

Let's just say I went there because it was a get-together with my colleagues from work, and music was ok but: 1.- Security staff there treats people like dogs. 2.- Expensive drinks (and they don't even have lemon slices for a tequila shot) 3.- There is discrimination inside (people in the so called "VIP" area can smoke INSIDE the club,... The club was so nice, had a good time. But the girl at the door who was selling the tickets was awfully rude, which made the night a bit worse. She was so disrespectful. I was totally sober and she was treating my like some kind of drunk horrible person. The music was good though.

This place has such good DJ's that place a mix of music from hip hop and r&b to Spanish music and techno on the upper levels. Always full and a good crowd of people. Drinks could be a little cheaper but overall a good time. Best nights to go are definitely Fridays and Saturdays.

Ended up getting free entry and even with that I feel ripped off. Due to it being in a residential street there's a collection of 'stewards' making sure you don't loiter which is thoughtful but when you get shifted around the smoking area 5 times in a couple of minutes it's pretty annoying. Drinks in the club are €8 for... More

Didn't read reviews and relied on rating, actual experience was disappointing, smelled funky, boring staff and the bartenders didn't bother to serve cocktails. I think the hype allows some teens new to the nightlife to appreciate it but more seasoned partiers will be dulled by the setup

It was a cool experience, but it wasn't the best. I got invited into the VIP section with a couple of friends, but if we hadn't been invited into the section the time would have been below average. All the staff is very stuffy when they really have NO reason to be.

A great little club - the crowd is very young and ready to party all night! The place itself is a real dive however 3 floors of music (2 great - hiphop/ rnb and spanish, 1 not so great - never heard Boney M on a dance floor!) full of people who just want to have a good time. A... More
