Otto Zutz is a very modern and original nightclub situated in the Sant Gervasi neighbourhood, in the high zone of Barcelona since 1985. It's a bold, modern club that breaks the standards of the rest of the Barcelonian nightclubs, creating a venue that transcends the minds of the crowd. Otto Zutz is a common favorite nightspot amongst intenational people and locals. In our parties we have had the pleasure to spend a delightful night with celebrities such as Freddie Mercury, U2, Spice Girls, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Leonardo Di Caprio, Naomi Campbell, Silvester Stallone and many more! This was a truly underwhelming experience. The bouncers were rude, the price was 15€ for entrance, very few people and a very very shady place. I had heard so much about this place, but the crowd and music, and the whole vibe just seemed weird. Not worth a vist! We literally left after two seconds, even after paying 45€ for entering, and that speaks volumes.

If you are a girl, avoid this club!
Don't go to this club!!! One of the worst expreriences I ever had in Barcelona, on the site they said one price and at the door they asked 50% more because they were "full" and they had a "private party", things that were never said on their site and on their Instagram page. They even found it funny that at that hour we, two girls, were outside at 1 a.m without knowing how to get back to our hostel, heartless.
Don't go to this club!!! Worst club ever !
We book a floor VIP table for New Years Eve, that should be the best table.
The floor VIP was the worst place of the club, with customers smoking weed and acting very dangerously ! Not any waiter said anything to them !!
The service is terrible and the price are so expensive regarding to the quality of the alcohol (first price in supermarket) and the club (not clean at all, terrible toilets with 45mn of line to get into the women’s toilet).
Do spend your money there for sure !

I saw with my own eyes more than once (specially on summer 2015) how the waitress offered a free shot for those who left a 5-point comment in TripAdvisor. She used a tablet and created herself a false username for each one. She gave the five points and people only had to write some good words on her tablet. Check what I say, there're a lot of users who wrote on the same day a 5-point opinion and they only have 1 opinion as TA users. So suspicious, isn't it?

This club is rathole! They will charge you random prices for entry, for drinks, for everything. Even if you are in a group and enter together, you will pay different amounts. The staff treats you like animals, they shout at you, talk to you like to a dog, they beat up popele in the streets! If you wanna pay to go to a ghetto, its the place to be. If you wanna party, have fun and enjoy barcelona, never come here! I have been living in Barcelona for 2 years, been to many clubs, but never seen anything like this before. Avoid this place for your own safety!

I recently celebrated my birthday. After some time at the party we decided to go to this club to dance. I had never been there so I was up for checking it out. Sadly they didn't allow one of my friend to enter the club, turning him away. We received a phone call from him telling us the situation and he had left back home. I was furious and talked to the bouncers. The bouncer's reasons were cause he was black and gay. I will never go there again and they totally ruined our night.

There is a scheme going on at this place.
Since this place is filled with turists that are not likely to come back to the same club twice the place is filled with pickpocketers. Come to find out later after going the police, the pickpocketers know the bouncers and they let them get away with it (They probably get paid somehow) .
My girlfriend and I went there and within 5 minutes of being inside they opened her purse and stole her wallet and Iphone without her noticing.
I would avoid this place at all costs.

So I will say the music is fine but my God the bouncers are terrible so I paid an extra 20euro to get me and my friend to the "bip area" paid for a 300 euro bottle just to get kicked out by another bouncer because we were American never received my euro back or the bottle after coming so I will be suing or canceling my card so the card doesnt get charged. Such good vibes all night until I came here....definitely a shame.

Let's just say I went there because it was a get-together with my colleagues from work, and music was ok but:
1.- Security staff there treats people like dogs.
2.- Expensive drinks (and they don't even have lemon slices for a tequila shot)
3.- There is discrimination inside (people in the so called "VIP" area can smoke INSIDE the club, though if you ain't there u gotta get out for a cigarette
4.- Not friendly staff behind the bar, plus not good at what they do
5.- Bad organization of everything in general
Conclusion: I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there

After reading about this club on some sites, I decided to go there on Friday night. The worst decision I've made. The club is old, everything is old, and looks so poor. The smell inside is awful, I don't know what smell was that, but I couldn't stay there more than 15 minutes. Music is fine. But that's not enough at all. The drinks are average but expensive. The club was full of young people, mostly locals. Max age of majority of them was 23. Personally I'd not recommend this place to anyone.

i don't know.. I have not been going for a long time. before yes, in the room below. I imagine that they will continue to smoke inside, if tobacco bothers you, IT IS NOT YOUR SITE
