The new Museu del Modernisme opened in 2010. It is housed in a former textile factory in the centre of Barcelona, and offers visitors the chance to enjoy a cultural centre dedicated exclusively to modernist art.

If I remember correctly, they have English info. As for walking from casa Batlló, it's a five minute walk, down Passeig the Gràcia, to your right on carrer Consell de Cent and to your left on carrer Balmes. Enjoy!
