Used this company for a tour around the city. The staff were great and the tour guide was knowledgable. You get to see loads of sights in 3 hours and the ride is easy even if you haven't ridden for years. Take water and sun screen when you go.

This was our third time hiring bikes from Green Bikes. The bikes we have used have all been in a great condition and a pleasure to ride. The bikes all come fitted with a lock so that you can be sure of securely leaving your bike. The price of hiring bikes is very reasonable at 2Euros per hour and they... More

Barcelona is a terrific city to see by bicycle. Relatively flat apart from Mont Juic ( which is quite doable if you approach from the back) a bicycle means one can easily travel between major tourist destinations. We decided to rent bikes for our three day stay and first took a very enjoyable half day tour with Green Bikes which... More

We had a great guide on this bike tour. Agnes was very informative about Barcelona and all the Guadi buildings. It is so convenient using bikes to get around. I feel like we can see so much more. We felt a special bond with her because she is from the same town that our foreign exchange student lives. She gave... More

There were 2 groups of about 14 each. We had a great time. The tour guide took us around a variety of places and stop to tell us about the area history of what we were seeing. We were able to take some group pictures in some beautiful scenic places. I highly recommend taking the 2 hour bike tour.

We hired a pair of bikes for a day - and paid for what we used (a full day's hire in the end). Make sure you get there early (opens at 10) as I imagine that the have a couple hundred bikes, but in peak season they'd all go for sure. Don't forget ID to leave in exchange for the... More

Easy to book. Good directions brought us right to their door. Bikes in good condition. Helpful and knowledgeable guide Dominico. Great way to cover a lot of ground and see the highlights when only have one day in port. I only wish our guide had spent a bit more time at each local for pictures. We always had to ask... More

We went to green bikes after having seen good reviews. Unfortunately, lots of others had had the same idea and there were no bikes left! Luckily, the guy was really really helpful and not only pointed us to a different bike rental store (el ciclo) but also phoned to check they had four bikes available. Great service!

We were a couple renting bikes for a full day, and due to change in schedule we had to return the bikes after just one hour- the staff were super nice and considerate with us. In addition, they offered us great recommendations in regards to places of interests and restaurant. Well done!

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
