Girona is a beautiful, medieval town filled with legends and just a short train ride from Barcelona that is always worth a visit. We will meet at the Sants Train Station at 9:30. We will scale the city walls, stroll through the narrow alleyways and streets, and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we uncover the history of the city, all before lunch! Best known because if its inclusion in Game of Thrones, it is home to the largest gothic nave for a cathedral in the world, a charming Jewish Quarter, and so much more. Having explored the entire city, we will stop for lunch at an authentic Catalan restaurant before heading back for you afternoon in Barcelona. Girona is the perfect day trip from Barcelona!
