We are HANDMADE®BARCELONA. The most famous espadrille brand in the city, with 9 amazing vibrant stores distributed around Gothic Quarter, Born and other central areas. Visit us and find endless styles of shoes to choose from, or sit with us and make your own pair in our immersive experience. We make Espadrilles and Avarcas (the most traditional footwear on this region of Spain), but also beautiful leather handmade boots. It is already a must-see in the city. See you all soon!

The staff were lovely, so fun, and the shoes gorgeous and comfortable. However, it costs an extra 40 euro to get the high heeled espadrilles. You also don't make the shoes as advertised, instead you only sew on the laces. There are only 2 decoration styles to choose from rather than the 4 shown on their Instagram.

During my first trip to Barcelona, I came across this trendy shop (HandMade) with unique styled espadrilles in the window. I was impressed with the quality and customer service overall. The shop owner was inviting and friendly. She answered all of our questions and helped a ton. I can’t wait to visit again! 😊

In 2019 When on vacation in Barcelona I was only a short stroll away from the store so went in a few times. I purchased some espadrilles which I still have and thoroughly enjoy. What made my experience so great was the friendliness of the Kath who served me. So welcoming and helpful but no pressure to buy.

When I first visited Barcelona in 2019 we were walking through the old town and I saw this little shop with its beautiful shoes! We bought two pairs and I feel instantly in love with the mermaids. Every year since then I order at least one of those. Quality and Comfort are the main points. I can‘t wait for the temperature to raise. And Luis is the nicest and kindest person every doing customer service in this world ❤️

The Espadrilles shoe for men is super dope, I bought a pair for myself. I gets lot of compliments whenever I put on this shoe with a very nice shorts and polo or t shirt (short sleeve). The shoe is very comfortable. I would recommend this for men who love fashion. I am definitely buying more.

Me and my husband were walking down the streets of Barcelona when we heard salsa playing coming from a shoe store, so wait, good music and shoes, ok ok that’s a perfect combination for me, we walked in the store just to look around and we were greeted by the most amazing and sweet attendant ever, her name is Sandy, shortly after, Kate joined us and we went from just looking around to buying 2 pairs of shoes and falling in love with the shoe quality, comfort, design, and meaning of knowing they are handmade by exceptional people. These are my go to shoes when I want to look chick but be comfortable at the same time, which pretty much is all the time. 🥰

Amazing store with an amazing customer services.If someone need handmade comfy and stylish shoes then he must visit Barcelona Handmade.During my trip to Barcelona i met the most kind and friendly people at barcelona HM ..I buy a beautiful Menorquina Gaudi avarcas . Really comfortable ,stylish and well-fitted handmade shoes.

We bought a pair of cowboy boots. The staff where very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. We are delighted with our experience and 100% recommend as a must go to when in Barcelona. It’s was a shame we did not have more time to experience the maker work shop.

We just did the virtual experience where my young daughters and I designed our own espadrilles. Kathe and Luis were amazing hosts: engaging, interesting and funny. My daughters (10 and 8) were engrossed and we are all so excited to receive our shoes. Highly recommended!

The staff were very accommodating and feel us more comfortable while looking for the right size shoes and that fits well. Jordi was very friendly. He gives us more options and choices which is very nice . I can tell their products are made very durable cuz its hand made, trendy and fashionable. Very soft and and confortable to wear. Much of all the discount. 😊muchas gracias👍
