For trains: https:/…Buying.Renfe.Tickets.Online.html For Barcelona: Downtown Barcelona is the Plaza de Catalunya. Use Booking.com to screen hotels or apartments in Downtown Barcelona. A good place to stay is the Eixample, the modern barrio of the city built in the 19th and 20th centuries, with a square grid of streets. The Passeig de Gracia is the most elegant avenue, with upscale stores. Good shopping streets downtown are Portal de l’Angel, Portaferrisa and Pelayo. Maremagnum is...More

Need help with Spain itinerary (6 Replies)
Hello - I would really appreciate some suggestions for our itinerary. We're planning a trip to Portugal, Spain, and possibly Dublin for early September. I am most excited about visiting Barcelona. Right now we're torn between being able to spend enough time in each place and maximizing the number of places we see in a short amount of time since we can't do trips like this often. Our tentative itinerary is below. I'm leaning toward cutting out Dublin entirely in favor of spending more time in...More

hi: everything depends upon what you wish to do and see in each city (outside of your expressed singular sites) ....how many nights you have in each place and when you arrive in your next destination...always think 2 full days need 3 nights. There is enough time in Florence if all you wish to see is the Duomo but is that all? The cities on your itinerary are great.....be sure to account for travel time from Point A to Point B as that will impact your days.
