We have been to Barcelona about 3 or 4 times and have enjoyed it so much that we extended our cruise to share this wonderful city with our daughter and grandson (11). We hired tour guides through Spain Day Tours, as we’ve used this company successfully on past visits. Over three days, we experienced:
• Montjuïc
• Gothic Quarter (Jewish Barcelona heritage and history)
• Casa Batllo
• Sagrada Familia (inside and outside tour)
• Gaudí Experience 4D
• Park Güell
• Poble Espanyol
• Palau de la Musica Catalana
• Chocolate Museum

We were recently in Barcelona prior to a Med Cruise and used Barcelona Day yours for three different trips.
First was airport pick up when we arrived. They were a bit late due to taxi-strike that was going on tin the city that day but they called me to keep me informed which was greatly appreciated.
We used them the following day for a trip to Montserrat followed by skip the line tickets at Sagrada. Our guide to Montserrat was fabulous and shared history of the region as we drove up to Montserrat and walked us thru some key areas once we arrived sharing more history. We then we had some free time to explore and see the Basilica and statue of the Virgin Mary with time to spare to take the funicular to the top to take in the amazing views. He then dropped us of with our skip the line tickets to see Sagrada. If you are not afraid of heights or narrow staircases getting the tickets to go to the top of the Passion spiral is well with the few extra euros. My calves hurt for days from coming down the staircases but was well worth the views and experience.
We then used them again on Saturday when some other family members joined us for a Wine Tour. We hit two wineries a small Cava winery and a traditional red/white winery. The service at both stops were amazing and our guide was again outstanding. I had made a mistake in the pickup time at our hotel and they were super accommodating and the guide waited while we gathered everyone. They had to change the order of our stops due to my error and our guide led us through the Cava winery and shared so much interesting information about the history. The Cava tasting was amazing and they offered shipping back to the US so excited to have some Cava at home to remember our great day.
The second winery was also fabulous as we sat outside tasting fabulous wines and talking with the owner. We were able to buy a few bottles to take on the cruise with us to have a dinner one night.
Cannot say enough great things about Barcelona Day Tours and will use them again next time we are in Barcelona,

I don't even know where to start! This company is AMAZING! There aren't enough stars to rate the company and its tour guides. We had such a great time. I was apprehensive when I first reached out and at 1st interaction they calmed my nerves, always responded right away, and upfront with all their pricing. Everything was very transparent. Our tour guides Martha and Elena were fabulous and SO helpful! They went at our pace and even helped out when the "old people' in my group needed additional assistance. I had been to Barcelona before and never had service like this last time I was very impressed on how well this company was organized....I can keep going on but I would be here for days writing a review....Just know this, if you don't book with Spain Day Tours your trip to Spain will be incomplete!!! Keep up the great job!!

I wanted to give an unsolicited shout out to this company. We required private transportation from our Barcelona VRBO to the cruise port for 18 people. I found the email communication easy and fairly fast - considering the 6 hour time difference. They adjusted the quote fairly based on my needs for extra luggage and small children. The bus was on time and the driver very accommodating. I highly recommend this company for future needs.

We booked multiple tours for our group of 15 with mixed age ranges from 9 to 73, including my mother who uses a collapsible wheelchair. Our guide Marta was AMAZING with accomodating all aspects of our group, from keeping the teens engaged while also going above and beyond to ensure my parents were taken care of. Over the course of 3 days, we went to Tibidabo, Sagrada Familia, Monsterrat & Costa Brava. Marta's knowledge, passion and flexibility made our family's trip much more memorable and it was truly an unforgettable experience!

We scheduled a semi-private day trip for Montserrat with Cava wine tasting with a pick up at our ship. Unfortunately, we were the only 2 people who signed up and the tour was eventually cancelled. I am giving the proprietor an excellent review because they kept in close contact with updates on what was happening with additional sign ups. I was impressed with their professionalism in keeping us up to date with our options and prospects. I simply want to give them kudos on their efforts.

We took a full day small group tour of Monserrat and a Cava tasting which left from and returned to the Barcelona cruise port. A much more enjoyable experience than any excursion offered by the cruise line. Our tour guide (Patricia) was knowledgeable, friendly and gave us plenty of options for how to spend our time at Monserrat. The Cava tasting was much more than we expected in that we were offered basically all we cared to drink of three different sparkling wines along with a tour of the facilities and a demonstration on the process of bottling. I highly recommend these small groups over going on the big buses that take 50 or more people. And they handled all of the logistics in a very professional manner, always returning emails promptly and answering all questions.

We took the Spain Day Tour of Barcelona straight from our cruise ship. They picked us up, took us to the most important sites including the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Milla, and the Olympic Venue overlooking the city. I’m still not sure how we did all of that in 4 hours but we were bused to the sites then walked and never felt rushed. Our tour guide was amazing and with only 4 couples it really felt like a personal tour. It was amazing especially given the fact that we left very shortly afterward and this was nearly our total Barcelona experience. Now we know that we have to go back.

Gemma is a true gem! This was our second time visiting Barcelona and because of Gemma we are looking forward to making a third. Gemma knew so much of the history of Barcelona, the buildings, the architecture, Gaudi, Park Guell, and Casa Batllo. We visited the Sagrada Familia church, Gemma knew a detailed history and explained the meaning and stories of the statues. We also got to see other sites as well as sample local cuisine and pastries. We cannot put in words that with only
8 hours in Barcelona how much Gemma made us realize we must go back. Truly a day to remember!

We only had one day in Barcelona before leaving on a cruise (unfortunately, because it is a great vacation spot), but this tour let us explore all of the best highlights of the city . It was just the right amount of everything. I also really loved that we were able to be picked up at our hotel and that there was only a small group of people on the tour. Our tour guide shared so much interesting information about the history of Barcelona. It was one of the best tours of our 2 week vacation. I highly recommend this tour company and this tour in particular.

Hi, we are interested in the Barcelona highlights with optional skip the line tickets to Sagrada Familia tour but the details say that pickup at the port is 8:30 and our cruise doesn't dock until 9:00am (on September 14th). Would it still be possible to do the tour?

Hello,
My mother is a 72 year old woman spending a few days in Barcelona and would like to see all the Gaudi attractions. However a walking tour or a full day tour would most likely be too much for her. Ideally, she would like to do smaller / shorter tours over 2-3 days, with probably 5-6 hours a day so that she can spend time at each attraction and not be rushed through. She doesn't move so fast these days. What would you recommend?

There are 2 options that we can offer you. You can join our half-day small-group tour of Barcelona (2-12 participants only) or do a private tour for just your party. With both options, we will pick you up directly from your hotel (or cruise port) and you will see all the main highlights in Barcelona including the main Gaudi attractions.
Our small-group tour with pickup and drop off included is only 59 Euros per person! The cost of our private tours depend on the number of participants, duration of the tour, etc.

If you book the Barcelona city tour, then we will pick you up from the airport (right after you clear customs inside the airport), load up your luggage, and take you for a tour of the highlights of Barcelona. You will be able to visit the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Montjuic, and much more. See all the highlights of Barcelona and then we will drop you off at the cruise ship with your luggage. All of this for the same price as taking the big bus tour that departs from the bus station… Enjoy personal pickup at the airport, excellent tour in Barcelona, skip-the-line tickets, and a drop off to your cruise ship in time for departure!

We are leaving on a cruise from Barcelona on Nov 17 2019. We would like to tour Barcelona that day before boarding the ship. Are you able to pick us and our luggage up at the hotel, take on a tour and drop us off at the cruise ship following the tour?

YES!! We can pick you up at the hotel, store your luggage safely in the vehicle while we tour in Barcelona, and then take you to the cruise ship for embarkation at the end of the tour. All of this for only 59 Euros per person! This is less expensive than taking a big bus tour with no pickup or drop-off included… :-)

If you have 9 hours at the airport in Barcelona this should be sufficient time to do a city tour which would cover most of the highlights. We will pick you up with your luggage at the airport, show you all the highlights of Barcelona on a 4 hour city tour, and then drop you back at the airport in time for checking-in for your next flight.
