Admission tickets for Park Güell, one of Barcelona’s most popular attractions, typically sell out quickly; however, by buying tickets online in advance, you can guarantee entry, avoid the long lines, and save time on the day. As a solo traveler in Barcelona recently, I decided to do a cooking class. There are so many to choose from in Barcelona however, I decided on the "Slow Food Kitchen" as I was interested in their philosophy of food. The kitchen is based in the Gothic quarter of the city, clean, bright and modern. I joined three other people who were part of the one group which left four in total for the class. The food we cooked was simple, fresh and amazingly delicious, everything we cooked was beautiful and it was so easy ! Our chef Giuseppe was a fantastic instructor as well as great fun. Giuseppe sous-chef Alexander is a must in any kitchen ! It was great fun, delicious food, fabulous company and I would go back again ! Highly recommend Slow Food Kitchen in Barcelona.

We booked this class based on an earlier review highlighting the fact that there are hundreds of cooking classes in Barcelona and if you really want to learn about the culture, cuisine and cooking skills THIS is the one to take. My husband and I are both comfortable in the kitchen and learned a couple of new knife skills and vegetable preparation techniques, and our teenaged son, who is not so comfortable, learned a ton as well. Giuseppe and his souschef Alexander were a wonderful combination of conversationalists, demonstrators and instructors throughout the cooking process. It was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Great food, great company, great conversation, and great fun! Don’t go anywhere else!

Review of: Not Just Paella!
We had so much fun learning Spanish traditional dishes in modern cooking school in the center of Barcelona. All the ingredients are from local market, fresh and the recipes are easy to cook! Out teacher Giuseppe was just great teaching us many cooking tricks! It was just wonderful way to spend afternoon in Barcelona, instead of just going to restaurant to eat paella we learn cook it by ourselves! We highly recommend Slow Food Kitchen in Barcelona!

This was a fun cooking class to attend if you happen to be in Barcelona. Pepe was very knowledgeable about the food he is cooking. He showed us around the Mercat de la Terra letting us taste the local and organic produce! Took us around some of the neighborhood to their cooking kitchen. Very cool and fun farm to table cooking class. Learned a lot. Highly recommended!!
