Climbing our via ferrata is an exhilarating way to discover the natural beauty of Catalonia. Experience the adrenaline rush of climbing a via ferrata on this unique tour with your own highly skilled local guide.

A via ferrata is a protected climbing route, basically, a modern via ferrata is a steel cable which runs along the route and is periodically fixed to the rock. The cable can also be used as aid to climbing, and additional climbing aids, such as iron rungs, pegs, carved steps and even ladders and bridges are often provided.

Did this via airbnb with a good local guide, Jordana. She was very knowledgable and could answer any questions we asked. The route was well thought through to accommodate me as a wheelchair user snd there were no difficulties in getting around. Would recommend to any wheelchair user.

I had booked several different things to do while in Barcelona and loved each one. I started out with the Secrets of Barcelona tour. Jordana was my guide and I was lucky enough to be the only one that time and day so I had a private tour. She was very knowledgable about all the places we saw and I definately recommend doing that tour since there are places and information that she tells you about that other tours do not. Right after my secrets of Barcelona tour I went to a tapas and Paella cooking class Alex was my chef and made sure we understood not only how to make the dishes but a little bit of history behind them. The food was fresh and amazing and they were even able to alter some of the tapas for me since I am allergic to fish (paella ended up being pork since it was Monday and there was no fish at the market). The 2nd day I did the modernism tour which was also amazing I learned a lot about Gaudi, Sagrada Familia, Sant Pau Hospital and I am not really into art or arcitecture but I really enjoyed it. If you love art or architecture you will love this tour. The next day I did the wine tasting which was also amazing (I mean who does like wine). It was just me again and the little shop was intimate and the selection of wine was perfect the wine steward knew exactly what to pick for me to try. The home made hors d’oeuvres complimented the wine very well. I like the fact that it was a small shop which made it cozy and the fact there was a small collection from the region made it even more cozy. The last tour I did was a hike which wasn’t an actual but more of a walk with a beautiful view of Barcelona. Jordana was my guide again and Sevag who was at the cooking class who helped Alex out with translating every once in a while joined us which was nice to have two people know a lot about Barcelona. The view were amazing and it was very enjoyable and took jy breath away and was a great way to end my tour. i would highly recommend this company and all of their tours. All the peole who took me on the tours I would highly recommend.

My friend and I were in Barcelona for a weekend only and wanted to capsulate a tour of the main sites. From the beginning we found the Barcelonian to be super professional, easy to book and use and generally all round friendly and lovely people. Our tour guide asked us what we were particularly interested in so we could spend more time on what we preferred (both the buildings and topics) and less time on the other parts. Our tour guide was lovely, friendly and even scheduled in a pit stop for a glass of wine :) . I could not recommend The Barcelonian enough!!! Will certainly be using them again next time we are in the city and I see their offerings have grown since I visited too!
