I got a little lost finding the location and arrived 8 minutes late. They would not accommodate my reservation and told me it was my job to get here on time; most any establishment has at least a 10-15 min grace period so they probably gave away my spot (they seemed pretty busy). Then, I was told I could not wait in the lobby for my ride since it was only for customers (my pick up was not coming until the original time of the appointment). I’ve never been asked to actually leave an establishment before under any context, was floored by how rude and catty the front desk girls were.

We do apologize for that. I wanted to explain you about your comment, it’s true we didn’t attend you because the time of reservation we give for the clients is the time that you have to start the massage and not just arriving the place, because you have to prepare for the massage like for example choose type’s massage, choose the smell’s oil, wear the slippers and going to the toilet if you need before the massage. For that, it’s really important for us your punctuality.
About your criteria you arrived 8 minutes lated than your reservation’s time but if you calculate all things you have to do before massage, for us you were lated 15 minutes and then we couldn’t attend you because for us the thing most important is offering massage with quality and with time requested by the client. About your comment that our receptionist told you that you couldn’t wait for the taxi in our lobby, we inform you that our lobby is a little small and then we have to organize the space of each, and of course we had to asked you to make a little space for the rest of clients they were arriving. We’re so sorry if that made you feel bad🙏
We’re so sad that your experience without having tried our massages was bad and then I offer you to enjoy our massage for free a session of 30 mins like you were going to receive it so you can check that if all things are going like normal situation, you would feel our massage in deep and change your criteria about our place.

I booked a massage for 2 people through whatsapp. We planned our day to be in the area so we can be at the massage on time. We were already walking around for quite a bit. We arrived for them to tell us they did not have our reservation and that we can come back in one hour. I showed them the whatsapp conversation and they were clueless as to who sent the messages but acknowledged that it was their company who sent them. They told us to come back to get 50% off. This was a waste of our time, it's not about the money. We could have been doing other stuff instead of waiting around for a massage and being told to wait another hour.

Hi there. We are sorry that the experience was not to your liking. We already told you that we only have 2 couple rooms and they were occupied and they could do their treatment in two adjoining rooms or if they preferred to wait for one of the couple rooms to be released. We offered them a financial compensation because we cannot do otherwise. We reiterate our apologies and you already know that if you want to return, you have that discount that we offer you for not being able to serve you as you wanted. All the best

Visited Saturday 12.11.22. I got message from them earlier this week that the therapist I had chosen (chose her since she was young, seemed friendly and had good reviews for her friendliness and therapy skill) was working at their other salon this saturday. I could either go there (too far to walk from hotel) or get another sinilar therapist. I said yes to sinilar therapist as long as she spoke English. My therapist was not young, nor did she speak English. She was friendly, but the massage, well.... I have had Thai massage before, last time I did hard style, and that was a bit too much for me, so I ordered medium, but this was by far the hardest and most painful massage I have ever gotten. It was not easy to communicate with her either. Therefore I cant give a good review even if I wanted to.

We had an error with your reservation due to a loss of internet, tell you that we received your reservation with the note "English speaking and not moving the masseuse who attended you (the one you did not like). We were very surprised to see this note because we knew that this masseuse does not speak too much English but we respected it as you requested according to the no system.
We informed this incident to Treatwell support and they told us that due to an internet failure in your case, a masseuse was assigned to you that you did not request.....it is the first time something like this has happened to us
We apologize for this error and please consider that your incident is not entirely our fault, since we always try to always offer what customers request.
We do not like our clients to be dissatisfied with the service received, so if you text us by e-mail or WhatsApp, we could offer you some compensation so you can change your opinion about our spa.

The massage quality was great! I felt like I am back in Bali with the bali massage. Also my boyfriend was very happy with the bali/thai massage. 90mins 95 euro, prices ok for the quality. But we were little unhappy with the services: no one asked which of the 4 different oils we want, the therapists didnt introduce themselves, no one asked if the massage was good, they let us pay in advance and then let us leave without any bye or thanks or interest in any feedback. Due to the quality I would recommend the Spa but they need to improve the service if they want repeating guests.

Usually the customer always choose the oil he want for the bali massage, maybe there were many people, but that is no a excuse, we must be our best always. We have been around having massages whenever we are on holidays .
After a few bad experiences in Barcelona, Thai spa is so far one of the best . Clean and professional.
Every single touch is a remedy to tiredness.
Pricing is also reasonable.
Prepare to call in advance for reservation to avoid disappointment.

Really nice place in the same center, its a mixture of modernism batllo and zen thai...
All the masseuses where really profesional and the place was incredible!! Every sala is decorated different and there is a foot masssage salĂłn that makes you feel inside casa batllo!!

I walked Barcelona with my husband already for three days and I wanted to pamper myself with a foot massage on my birthday so I got an appointment at this place, It was easy to agree on a time and the location is easy to find. The salon is clean and the ambience nice.
But - I booked 60 Minutes - payed 60 minutes - but got only 45 minutes massage.
My husband gave me a watch as present for my birthday so I knew exactly when the massage started and when it ended.
When I came for my appointment somebody was before me and when we finished right after me, I understand that they need to make money but not by cutting the minutes of the massage.
As it was my birthday I did not complain at the reception as I did not want to ruin my day but I was quite angry. Plus the massage itself has nothing to do with reflexology, just creaming and a bit of pressure.
Two days later, accidentally, when I was walking through Barrio Gotic, I saw a Nails Shop called MUMU, they also do foot massage, 45 minutes for 25 Euros, so less than half of the price of this shop, and they do it really well. These are chinese people who know what reflexology is. And they keep the promised lenght of massage.
I would not visit this Thai Spa again if I were in Barcelona because I do not like to be fooled like that. I read some reviews on Google and a lot of them stated that they "cut the time".

Thank you for your comment about our center indicating that it is clean and that the environment is good.
We are very sorry that your massage did not meet your expectations without counting if they cut the time of your massage or not. Tell you that even if it was your birthday, if you had claimed us at the time we would have put a solution if the problem was due to massage time. Really for us it is rare that some of our thai therapist cut the time of any massage…
As for foot and leg massage, inform you that we not only put creams and pressures as you explained, we have two types of foot and leg massages;
1- Reflexology that works with a small piece of wood to work the reflex points to relieve pain in extremities and strengthens the immune system through pressure exerted on the nerves of the foot that are associated with the organs.
2-Foot and leg massage that works through pressure with a special balm to reduce edema in the legs and feet, relieve tired legs, improve your digestion, relax the nervous system and help prevent and relieve varicose veins.
Did you indicate which of these types you wanted?
We are glad that you found another better chinees nail center according to your criteria, we respect your opinion, but it is really rare too that you speak about other place in your review of our thai massage center…
It saddens us that our client is dissatisfied with the treatment or massage received, regardless of whether you indicated what you needed, so if you write to us by whats app or email or call us by phone and tell us what day and what time you had the massage to confirm that you came, we offer you to male a 30 min foot massage so you can check that our reflexology is good and you can change your opinion.

I have no words to describe how awesome the massage was. I was very well treated and the massage itself was great. I really needed to relax from a long walk visiting Barcelona and Thai Spa Massage Barcelona really did help me with that. I came with my teen children and they loved it too. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this wonderful place which made me feel I was chilling out in Asia.
