Wow! This was absolutely one of the highlights of our Barcelona vacation. We had a fantastic experience. Alex is a natural "connector" and he brought energy and positivity to the event and made sure everyone felt welcomed and included. I never knew a Cooking class could be so much fun! Music, dancing, laughter - and delicious food (and Cava) to share. A+

This was a blast! High-energy cooking class that left me feeling like I had "conquered" preparing paella. It all starts with some cava pours and basic guidelines, then you are off to individual work stations and a completely hands-on cooking experience. The group prepared 8 different paellas (there were 16 of us) and we had a great lunch tasting a bit of each one along with some wine and laughs. Great deal on local saffron in the little store that's up front. Highly recommended!

This was our 3rd time cooking at the Paella Club and as always it was a memorable experience. We love this place! The cooking experience is easily explained step by step while enjoying a bottomless glass of cava. At the end we all gather around the table and eat heartily of our creations along with appetizers and dessert prepared by the staff as well as more wine. If you want to do something different while in Barcelona, this is the class to sign up for!

Everyone had a really fun time! We did the 2-hour paella making. 16 of us (we didn't know each other) in groups of 2. Fernando (our Chef) and Mimi (his helper) were terrific. Tips on cooking that you can use all the time not only making paella, drinking cava (the bubbles) and wine tasting, fab music and Fernando's great attention to every person made this be one of the best things we did in Barcelona!

Was a great experience, from the different guests, the food was great and the wine was even better ! The class is very the pricey side especially since I have the price increase in the past year. A paella cooking class is must that you add on your itinerary.

When I travel, I want a full experience centered around architecture, music, connecting with other people, and of course food. The Paella Club cooking class had it all. The exposed brick in the sitting area and kitchen had a welcoming old world charm, the music selections made one want to sing (and we did), and the food was amazing! Chef Alex promised that we’d meet new friends, eat good food, and have fun!! Chef Alex and his team delivered! The Paella Club cooking class is a must do while in Barcelona. Don’t forget to purchase some merchandise. I bought dried mushrooms, paella rice, and olive bowls. I’m so glad I did. Thank you Chef Alex and team!
