Our special trip with Ramon truly represents our return to freedom after the very intense lockdown in Barcelona. The fresh air and beautiful views were our reward. Ramon is an outstanding guide. He is so knowledgeable about the area and added a lot of details and context about the geology and history that we wouldn't have gotten on our own. At the same time, he didn't force conversation on the drive, which I think shows a level of comfort with silence that is uncommon in the industry, but also probably appreciated by many clients. All three stops were gorgeous and special. Besalu is definitely a must-see. We opted for the restaurant lunch, and it was really nice. Overall, wonderful tour.

I had the best time with Ramon on a hike in Monserrat. Not only was the place beautiful but the pace of the hike was great and adjusted for us, the group was a lot of fun and he was so nice and entertaining. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful way to get outside the city and learn about the landscape of Catalonia, a perfectly balanced day of physical activity, breathtaking views and cultural experience. Ramon was a knowledgeable, friendly and experienced guide, able to plan the tour activities to our interests and abilities, or adjust to whatever the day brings. Please add this to your itinerary, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent tour! Excellent guide! Highlight of our Barcelona trip. Our guide Ramon was awesome. We left on time and early8:00am and as a result able to get parking in the lot and tour the church and see the Black Madonna with no line at all. He was informative and patient with us as we hiked up the mountain. We stopped to see the spectacular views and to take pictures. He told us about the plants and trees growing there. We had a picnic snack of cheese and beef stick on the top of the mountain before we headed back down . As we were leaving the line of cars to get in the parking lot was backed up for at least a mile. P.S. we are both over 60 so don’t be shy about hiking with Ramon (Catalan Trails) it beats a bus tour anyday!

Superb day out, this was THE highlight of our trip to Barcelona. This is a must-do! Nice to escape the crowds. Peaceful and serene. Easy meeting point, great transport vehicle. Ramon is a friendly, knowledgable and professional mountain guide. He grew up walking the mountains and cares about the environment deeply, explained as we walked about the geology of the mountains and all about the flora and fauna. Also all about the amazing history of the mountains, and the history of the monastery, which was fascinating. Whilst we are not religious, the monastery and how it came to exist was really interesting. It is a beautiful place. What drew us to this trip was the ‘off the beaten track’ wording, it was breathtaking to see such amazing mountains and views. We are walkers and can quite honestly say we’ve never seen such stunning scenery, all with an amazing professional guide and we felt totally safe. Ramon also had local delicacy treats for us to try at lunch break, very yummy! This trip is definitely a must-do 👍🏻😊
