A great trip! Ramon was very knowledgeable about the monastery which was a must see. The hike was amazing. He knows the flora, fauna, and back paths and took great care of all of us. Transportation was comfortable. Ramon also went the extra mile and found us a castell (human tower) for my husband and I to go to after. If time would allow we would definitely do another trip w them

Would consider myself as an amateur hiker and thought this hike was wonderful. We got very lucky with the weather too, as it rained the previous day. Ramon has an extensive knowledge about the area as well as the off-beaten path to hike. Spectaclar views and will definitely be back to do one of Ramons other tours in and around Catalonia/Barcelona. Do not miss this hike at all!

We started with the wine tour. It was very much focused on how this winery, Albet i Noya, has chosen to make their wine. From the ecological practices to the science of how to avoid losing crops to fungi, it was all interesting and informative. They could really be on to some exciting innovations! The wine is wonderful. We got to try their sparking wine, which just won top prize. After drinking our last glass and enjoying our snacks, we went on the hike. It's a really nice loop - not difficult at all but refreshing . The vews were lovely of the vinyards, hills, trees, and mountains. Overall, well worth the time and money. Buen provecho!

This was a really fun and beautiful trip. The drive to Queralbs is really pretty. We got lucky with good weather until we reached the top - it was snowing. I like snow, so it was a good thing. This is a really famous pilgrimage in Catalunya, so if you're into hiking and like the mountains, I'd highly recommend it. The hike itself is all uphill, so I would recommend the La Garrotxa hike instead if you are not in at least decent shape. Shoes with tread are a must so you don't slip. Ramon is awesome - he's very knowledgeable and kind.

We left Barcelona in rain that continued all the way to Montserrat. We toured the exterior quickly and then viewed the interior sites at our own pace. After a lunch time break we were able to have time to tour the art museum since we weren’t hiking, then heard the boys choir perform. We were very satisfied with the tour, nice, small group, and Ramon was an excellent guide throughout the van ride and the monastery.
I would definitely recommend this tour!

Breathtaking, jaw dropping scenic views, serene walks through nature and its trails, coupled with Ramon our tour guide who gave us an insightful view on geography, history, flora and fauna. The best trail hike we have been on ever!! Kudos to you Ramon for being the best tour guide ever.

Suitable for families with children, honeymooners and anyone with relatively low fitness levels, its an easy hike but the pictures just doesn’t do this place justice.

Great local food, impeccably preserved medieval town, small local run stores and restaurants with local produce and hand made products.

Unfortunately our hike was cancelled due to bad weather which compromised the safety of hiking. We could have received a refund or rebook. However as we didn't have another free day to rebook our guide agreed to do just the tour of the Monastery & Basillica. His knowledge of the history was extensive & he was very flexible to take advantage of the time we had there.

My sister, her husband and daughter and I did the Monserrat off the beaten track tour with Christian.
Christian is a very good driver and we had a great tour. Christian is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He is obviously passionate about his country and very happy in the mountains.
The snacks provided were very tasty.
We all enjoyed the tour (even though we are stiff now!)
Thoroughly recommend this tour and company.

Our day to Rupit was relaxed and wonderful. There were only 2 of us on this tour with our guide Ramon. I was messaged the night before the hike to be prepared for the potential rain - this was not an issue for us. The drive was smooth and punctual, Ramon is great to speak with and is very laid back. The historical town is quaint and beautiful, we had coffee and pastries at a local bakery which was a great start! The surrounding area is stunning. Ramon was very considerate of our hiking pace and we never felt rushed at all. The views are really really beautiful. We had lunch as a group at one of the local restaurants which was a great experience for food and conversation. Our stroll through town was met with some rain but this just added to the atmosphere and enchantment of Rupit. We are really thankful for our experience and wish Ramon all the best!
