We enjoyed visiting four different wine and tapa venues with Javier and Moa. They both knew their Spanish wines and made the tasting experience informative and sooo enjoyable. The positive rapport that Javier has developed with the restaurant owners was obvious and to our benefit. We had good food, tasty wine and great company. Thank you both for a fantastic afternoon!

This tour was outstanding. Moa (yes, her name is Moa, not Mona!) is a fantastic guide with superb knowledge and personality. We were lucky to have a great, sociable group. My dad, brother and I took this tour on our second day here. The knowledge we gained helped us with some decision-making during the rest of our visit. I highly recommend this tour, and I suggest doing it at the beginning of your trip so you can use your knowledge later in your trip or on future visits. Thank you Moa for a great tour!

From start to finish this was a truely memorable tour with Nico, we tasted amazing food and wines from places we wouldnt normally visit. Nico was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was stunning. If you have limited time in Barcelona I would recommend this.

This was a great way to see Barcelona and taste the culinary delights that Catalonia has to offer. It was a small group and Javier was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The men in our group were chatting about different types of alcohol and the topic of craft beers was mentioned. Upon hearing this, Javier took a little detour to point out a craft beer place he recommended and allowed the group to stop and try some craft beers. The tapas selections were all incredible different and i thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

When my husband and I returned home from Barcelona, he asked me what my favorite part about our trip was; this tour was easily one of the best, if not the best part, of the trip. Since we went in November we were the only two on the tour with our tour guide (I believe her name was Sylvia).
She walked us through each neighborhood and really took the time to explain the food, wine, architecture and history. The three hours flew by and I was definitely sad by the time it was over.
I loved that we ended in the Gothic Quarter because we were able to see that area at night with all the lights on then head back to La Rambla for some shopping. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable which made it even more enjoyable. We did it on Monday which set the tone for the rest of the trip.
If you are in town you absolutely must do this tour!!!

Nico made the tour, very informative about the areas we were walking through pointing out different places, giving their history etc. He kept a very good eye on us, a total of 7 on the tour personalizing our experiences. He comes across very genuine. Explained what we were eating, walking through the market we learnt more about different foods, olive oils etc. than on previous tours with other companies. Over all a very good experience. The only reason it's not a 5* is that the food wasn't great but we found that to be more typical than not. Would certainly recommend this tour

Hi, thanks for your review, I am glad that you had a good time with Nico! In regards to the food, I have to say that I agree with you as well. Unfortunately during the past few years, Barcelona has been experimenting a downgrade on the quality and creativity on the food served throughout most of its restaurants including some that we visit as well. I have personally lived this negative trend which is a side-effect of mass-tourism. This is why I've been working very hard lately to change some of the restaurants that we visit and incorporate newer and more exciting places. Starting on January 2019, our tour will change to reflect what we think is the exceptional and praise those places that are really above the herd in terms of quality and creativity. This is what we are really passionated about, we aim for the WOW factor in everything we offer. I greatly appreciate your honesty and would like to offer you an invite to try us again in the future and see for yourself that we aren't just about talking about it, but about really creating a unique experience to stimulate all the senses.

We did this walking tour today and were highly impressed. The guide, Nico was very knowledgeable and took us to a number of tapas and food places around the city area. He is a delightful person and we were also lucky to be with a family of 4 Americans who were also very pleasant. I would highly recommend this tour when in Barcelona.

This was a very well done culinary stroll through several neighborhoods. Javier spoke excellent English and gave us great information about the various food and drink in the different regions of Spain. The food and wine provided at each stop were outstanding and plentiful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic guide/Sommelier, great wines, amazing food. We lucked out and had a very cool group of fellow travelers on the tour as well. All around a great experience, I would highly recommend. No better way to sample a bit of Barcelona.

Javier was extremely knowledgeable and super professional. This tour was worth every penny and it far exceeded any expectation we had for a food tour. The food and wine was delicious and plentiful and you will definitely end up full so don't eat in advance. If you're thinking about booking this tour --stop thinking and book it! You will not regret it!

Hi,
I am traveling to Barcelona on June 3rd and questioning if there’s anyway to coordinate this tour for a 6 pm start. We would do a private group of 4-6. We only have one night and our afternoon tour doesn’t end till 5.
You are my favorite of the offerings, so I felt I had to at least ask.
