We booked tickets for the Sagrada Família tour in desperation as all other tickets from the official website had sold out. I then read the reviews on here and was full of dread that the tour would be cancelled; however the worry was not needed as our friendly tour guide showed up at the meeting place and greeted us. The tour itself was brilliant - very informative and interesting. We spent some time looking around the outside before heading into The Sagrada Família itself. The tour guide talked to us about both façades as well as the history of the place and the ongoing construction. I would recommend the tour however, like I said the worry of it being cancelled (like some other reviewers on here talk about) made me quite anxious all day so would probably try booking with the Sagrada Família direct first.

We wish that we could truly write a meaningful review. However, we waited and waited and waited and nobody ever showed up. Once we got back, we contacted Viator and we were told that our particular day/time was actually cancelled. We got NO notice. What a waste of our time. We hope that you have better results than we did. We are beyond disappointed.

This is very upsetting. Firstly they reschedule our booking from 17th August to 18th August without proper intimation.  We had to reach the venue on the 17th of August to find out the Tour has been rescheduled. An email was sent but it ended up in the Spam due to its unverified source and contact. Secondly, even after reaching Sagrada Familia on time on 18th August (12.50pm), the guide was not available on the meeting point or he did not even come. We dont know.  We called up the office of Vivelus and informed them that we did not meet the guide but the receptionist was very rude to us and did not give us a proper answer.  We did not expect that Viator and Vivelus work under such unprofessional leadership. This is a complete breach of trust and a clear case of fraud.  In short we were robbed of our money earlier and lied later making it such an unpleasant experience for me and family.  I suggest you choose a better tour operator or buy tickets from a more trust worthy source.

Response from Thais Z, Gerente at Vivelus
Responded Nov 7, 2018

The guide for this tour was incredibly knowledgeable and made this experience so much better. The Sagrada familia is a beautiful site, but it is definitely worth getting a guide to hear all the amazing history behind this architectural marvel. My only issue was that the voucher has specified a specific meeting place, but no one from the company showed up. I had to call the company who then informed me they had told me to just go to the group entrance in an email when they sent the ticket. However, I had received the entrance ticket, but with no information attached that this meant the meeting point was no longer where they had specified. So better communication on this end would be nice, as I ended up having to rush to the group entrance and ended up feeling a bit flustered at the beginning of the tour.
