I booked the tour for me and my two daughters the night before. Meeting time and directions to the meeting point were clear and included in the confirmation email, which I received within a couple of hours. The tour was very nice. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I've never done a tour company tour - I usually hire a... More

My mom and I had a lovely tour with Sonia a couple of weeks ago. We saw all of the highlights of Barcelona (Sagrada Familia was my favorite!) and it was such a great way to be introduced to the city. Sonia was so knowledgable and passionate about her city and she made the tour feel like you were walking... More

In 2015 I had taken some three small group tours with BGB and it was all worth it! They are well organized, their guides are not only informative but also very cordial and patient with queries :) Sonia gave us the tour of Sagrada Familia and it was just awesome. She is the best! If you are going solo, BGB... More

Very knowledgable guide made this tour a great success. He showed us the highlights of the Sagrada Familia and gave us time to explore the church! Awe did get to see some of the other Gaudi buildings from the bus. This was nice but if you were on the wrong side you didn't get to see much. Still, excellent value... More

We have taken the Sustainable Barcelona Tour for a group of 10 experts in sustainable development. The tour was guided by Abel a very knowledgeable person, who made the tour really thrilling. The tour was professionally organised, apart from Able there was Agatha to accompany the group, we felt comfortable and safe.

My husband and I were luckily paired with Sonia Crespo. Sonia was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgable and took her time explaining all different topics to us. She was also flexible with the schedule. We were supposed to stick to the Gothic area but she took us also to the Sagrada Familia. Once there, she continued to explain the... More

Excellent informative and enjoyable tour led by an excellent and very well informed Sonya! The earpieces worked well throughout so one was always able to hear Sonya even when in crowded places. The Tour moved at an appropriate place with Sonya providing insights and stores relevant to the particular spot throughout.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
