We researched and then visited about 8 of the World Heritage Catalan Romanesque churches in late May. Various wild flowers were in bloom which added to the enjoyment or taking photos, but we were disappointed to learn that the churches are only open on certain days of the month for very limited hours. I visited Vall de Boi in June 2010 jjust to see the small villages with their old stonehouses and for hiking. The villages were marvelous and the hiking possibilities very good with lots of flowers in June. For more details visit my webbsite [-------]
