The church is beautiful from the outside and once you arrive you will and have to take a picture. It is not hard to find. You can see the church from a mile away. Sometimes beggars can be seen hanging around but they are not hostile so don't worry. The inside of the church is not very special to me... More

The main church of Valladolid is situatad at the important square of the city. Church is the excellent example of plateresque style. This style means using silver in the design of facade and eclectic mix from many styles as Mudejar and Gothic for instance. This church has long history. Here is Phillip II and Phillip V were baptized. Napoleon has... More

Attended Mass at this church. Beautiful inside and the outside carvings are great to see. If you happen to be there at a Mass, the music is also very good.

Echoing another reviewer, the façade of this church is out of this world. And if you want to see another one, come back after sunset: the nighttime lights give it an entirely new character, almost as if it was a completely different monument. You can spend hours admiring it.

which was a shame, but as we learned, Valladolid is closed on a Monday. The outside of the Church is one of the most spectacular I've seen - astonishing carvings.

So if you are in Madrid and have seen everything else in a 100 mile radius, or if this is on your road to somewhere else or you were going to be in town anyway and there's no soccer game to watch or mate to have a beer with. Then maybe you flip a coin 10 times and it comes... More

The place and surroundings are just beautifull. This Church has one of the most beautiful fachades you will ever see. It is an experience; it can take you hours to see everything. Gothic from the 11th Century. Quite an experience.

The facade on this church is amazing. It's beautiful, intricate and detailed. It's an amazing piece of art that has been recently restored and I would say the must see sight of Valladolid. For a fee you can go inside, I think there is suppose to be a museum.
