The church was built between the 11th and 13th centuries. It is a Romanesque church with a basilica plan with three naves separated by arches. Abandoned after the confiscation, it was bought by Daniel Zuloaga in 1905, to install his home and ceramic workshop inside. Later, it was acquired by the State. Currently, it houses the Zuloaga Museum, where you can admire the beauty of its Romanesque elements at the same time.

Door was open so popped in to have a look at this lovely church as it always seemed closed. Had a look round and didn't realise we were nearly locked in by the man on the door. Nice to know its history.

This small romanesque church is beautifully preserved and today serves as a museum and a concert venue. It was owned by a private family and served as a ceramics factory, warehouse and private residence until the State purchased it in the 1950s.
