The “Plaza Medina Del Campo” is perfectly located in the historic center of Segovia, this square is surrounded not only by good restaurants, shops selling all kinds of merchandise, lots of souvenir shops and lots of people! But here you are only at a few steps from the “Saint Martin Church” – The Lozoya Tower” – And the Royal Prison”. The Plaza is on the way between the aqueduct and the cathedral, you will surely pass it. Take the opportunity and stop for a few minutes to appreciate the set and take beautiful pictures from all sides.

A visitor to Segovia would not come to Plaza de Medina del Campo as a specific tourist destination, although part of wider tour of the city.

With this said, the Plaza and surrounding areas offer many nice views and good spots for photos.

Beautiful square in the center of Segovia with a statue of Juan Bravo. Among the inhabitants of Segovia, it is known as Plaza de Juan Bravo or Plaza de las sirenas. Surrounded by the beautiful Church of San Martin , and the old facades with the majestic silhouette of the Lozoya tower make it one of the most emblematic places in Segovia. The square is decorated with two fantastic statues called mermaids. In the center of the square there is a set of steps that lead to the Plaza San Martín. Spectacular urban space.

This little square makes an excellent place to pause the walk from the Aqueduct to the Plaza Mayor (and also in the reverse direction). The monument of Juan Bravo is on one side of the Plaza and the other side has the 12th century church of San Martin

This area was filled with old buildings, a convent, cathedral, and other great architecture. Enjoyed as we walked to castle.

Above a third of the way up the hill to the Alcazar is public square, Plaza de Medina del Campo. Flanked by beautiful Church of San Martin on one side and by nice looking hotels and shops on the other. At the centre of the square is a set of steps that take you up to the old watch tower. On the way up you'll also pass a monument to Juan Bravo, one of the leaders of the failed Revolt of the Comuneros. There's a restaurant near the top of the steps and because it's about 5 metres above the street level, it's a nice pace to sit and people watch.

Don't go out of the way to see this though, as you're more likely to be walking past to get to the Cathedra, Alcazar or Plaza Mayor.

There is a lovely statue here of Juan Bravo, a church, tower and some shops. It is worth popping past for a visit.

This plaza is very nice. It has the statue, the old tower, and the church. It’s really a pretty cool spot. The church somewhat dominates but the old statue is nice and there are a lot of old buildings on the walk up from the viaduct.
