I was particularly looking forward to see this "English" church in Salamanca but could never find it open. Check its opening times if you are especially anxious to see it.

The rotunda design is extremely attractive and the weight of centuries is evident in every stone. Whilst I was there a constant stream of people came in for a few moments contemplative silence and, indeed, the church is an aesthetically pleasing island of peace in the middle of the bustling city.
