Walking through Salamanca and arriving at Plaza Colón we found this beautiful baroque style church that by the time we arrived was already closed so we couldn't go in to see it. My wife, who lived in the city as a student, told me that it was originally known as the Church of the Holy Trinity (it was part of the convent of the Barefoot Trinitarians) built in the 17th century but later it was called by its current name. It is worth entering the church if you pass through this square

It is a church built in the 17th century. XVII and from the outside I thought the facade was very beautiful, with the stone images above the main portico and higher up the two coats of arms.
The inside is simple, has little decoration, practically non-existent on the side walls, and a very simple altar.
The baptismal font is next to the altar, on the right side, and has a loud choir, but no pipe organ.
Good access to the interior, without steps.
It is a more beautiful church on the outside than on the inside.

St. Pablo is a beautiful church to find rest in the busy city center. Even the simplicity of the interior can give you rest for your body and mind if you take your time. Every 15 minutes you hear the beautiful sound of the bells. The wooden floor makes a sound of an old home. Impressive paintures of Peter and Paul left and right of the altar.

There are quite a few churches you can visit throughout the Historic Centre of Salamanca including the Church of San Pablo just off Plaza de Colon. The church is part of a larger convent and was originally known as the Church of La Santisima Trinidad when constructed in Baroque style near the end of the 17th century. It took on the name San Pablo in 1840.

Today, the Courts of Salamanca make use of the Convent while the Church of San Pablo remains open for services and public visitation. Most impressive feature is the facade, with niche filled statues and simple pediment. The interior is simple and humble with a nice Baroque style altar as well. Worth a quick look-see if you are exploring the streets of Salamanca and enjoy viewing historic churches.

On my arrival, there was a service going on. I didn’t think it was right to take photos of the inside, so I leave you with a single photo of the outside. The church was filled with locals in prayer. Very beautiful

This church is located in Plaza Colón. It is a baroque church from the 17th century.
The facade is really nice. It has a statue of Christ called "Jesus Rescatado"; many people come to pray in front of the statue.
