Old Centre of the City of Salamanca, good food - tapas & coffee. A bit more expensive than just two streets away, though a must-do when you visit Salamanca.

This plaza Mayor is very pretty and a great place to sit and relax. Heaps of eateries in and around the Plaza and the elephant statue is so adorable! I'm going back tonight because apparently it looks great all lit up at night.

The main plaza in the center of Salamanca is really impressive and deserves time to walk around and enjoy all the details of the architecture. You cannot miss the elephant sculpture ...

We are not shoppers, but this ,and the pedestrian Calle Mayor were where we bought all our presents. Ir is also a super place to have wine and cheese, watching the world go by.

I visited a couple of times in the last few years and really love the atmosphere as the square comes alive on the evening.
