Visit this plaza at night when it is lit up giving a romantic and beatiful setting for food or wine. Restaurants surrond the edge of the plaza and people enjoy the location all hours of the day.

It is less known but similar in look to Plaza Mayor of Madrid. Less expensive than Plaza Mayor in Madrid. Definitely worth a visit.

The Plaza Major is a must see in Salamanca. Yet, to see does not take much time. There are some cafes but we were there in the winter and didn't want to dine outside. Lovely
