Salamanca's great lung
Oct 2020
This parks remembers me of huge parks in the middle of a huge city, like London or NY. I go here every day with my dog and we both enjoy it a lot. It's like a little space of forest in the city. It's a quiet, relaxing & calming place I don't get tired of going to.

Large city park
Feb 2018 • Solo
This large park is located just outside the Old Town area on far side of Paseo Canalejas ring road and stretches for most if its length a block back. It had started to snow the day I visited late February and there weren’t many visitors other than a few dog walkers (who should have been using the specific area for dogs) and the cafe was shut. Even in winter the grounds looked well maintained and no doubt it’s very pleasant walking around when the weather’s warmer. There’s exercise trails and childrens play areas. Gates are open 0800 - 22/2300 dependant on season.

Beautiful park for a late evening walk
Sep 2017 • Couples
We loved so much ,that visited two times during our stay in Salamanca.
If you go after 4:00 PM, you will be surprised to find so many people, walking, meeting each other, running and lot of children playing in their small children place.
Clean, safe to walk, beautiful surroundings ,and even a nice littke cafeteria right in the middke of the park where you can sit in a shadow umbrela have a cup of coffee, a soda or ice cream while looking at the so many people walking around. It is a must if you love parks. You should not miss it, and is jùst 15 minutes walk from main pkaza

Great Place to Walk, Relax, Sit and Read
Mar 2017 • Friends
This is perhaps the largest park in Salamanca. It has new play areas for children. Many of the walkways have been renewed this past winter as well. This is a park worth spending some time whether it be to sit and read a book, visit with friends, or have a cup of coffee at the cafe.

Lovely Park
Oct 2016 • Couples
Right in the centre of Salamanca the Jesuit Park is a truly lovely place. Great for a walk, hide from the sun, sip a drink, watch the world go by. The park is very well maintained.

On my top five list of parks
Aug 2016 • Solo
A big park that offers almost everything a park should. Different "scenes", benches, paths, places to walk your dog, fountains, a café daytime, an outdoor gym, basketball field, pergolas, trees trees trees... I took my morning walk here every day and loved it. It seems to be well cared for too. A great alternative if you want to pause. And have an ice cream or workout. Or just sit down and read a book in the shade.

The most pleasant small city park I have ever been in.
May 2016 • Couples
Probably depends on the time of year but the flowers and trees in spring are a pure delight. Walkways under gentle hanging flowers - long ironwork pergolas - colourful sunlit and shaded. At one end are set ups for small sports with steps to sit on to watch and through the park are exercise grottos - for little kids, medium size kids, and a great set of solid machines for the old folk. A pond with geese and a little bridge over. Peaceful and relaxing. But a negative - the park cafe looks ok but foodwise well maybe not. And out at the bottom end and turn left and you are at Domus Artem 02 - a decent contemporary art gallery.
