This is a GREAT bar!. Lovely space outside with tables and steps to sit and chill, good selection of music, friendly staff, relaxed ambience and creatively decorated. It's one of a handful of proper alternative bars in Burgos.... The type which seem to be increasingly disappearing. Compared to the way pubs have become in the UK where all seem to be merging into one samey, character-less chain resulting in exactly the same pub wherever you go... the SAN FRAN is a real treat. There's often inpromptu jams and gigs and djs in the evenings... they welcome instruments and have a few in the bar. (Only downside is that it is rather too 'hip'!!... but then that's a personal thing!...many people seek hip). I spent years living in the city and it became one of my locals, there is a real sense of community and its situated in a great scenic spot just by the historical centre. I miss the SAN FRAN...wish there was a bar like that where I am now! SO....If your'e visiting Burgos I would thoroughly recommend dropping by. (hola chicos...soy A***N la violinista inglesa...acuerdas de mi?!!)
