Burgos had been on my bucket list to visit for a long time as it's my understanding that my family lineage connects with Burgos as an important place for us before my forefathers traveled to the Americas. Not only did I feel humbled by the grandeur of the amazing architecture of this beautiful and stately cathedral, but I felt a... More

It's a nice catedral no doubt. The locals are very prideful of it. Our mullet-toting taxi driver insisted that this catedral was la catedral mas mejor in the area. Way better than what Vitoria had to offer. You come here for the same picture that everyone else has already taken though. But ykno what, if you're in Burgos you kind... More

On my final leg of the Camino, I almost missed this cathedral. Because I was so tired, and so happy with just getting through the 14 mile walk, I wanted to just lie down and sleep. But I wouldn't trade my experience in this cathedral for anything in the world. I remember coming into the space, and being drawn in... More

Walking around getting ready for the Camino. This cathedral is hard to miss. Beautiful at night. Take a few minutes to appreciate it.

Visiting this cathedral is a must. It is amazing piece of architecture. The tour is very educational and not boring at all.

Going to the cathedral is obviously the main reason to visit Burgos. You won't be disappointed either. Well organized visit with enough to keep you entertained for 2 hours.

Just a heads up, it is called a cathedral but it is a museum really. It is beautiful and get to see a good portion of the history of the catholic church. If you're in Burgos, it is a must see, the city takes a lot of pride into it's cathedral.

Although walking the Camino, we allowed time to visit the Cathedral as we passed through Burgos. It was worth the visit.

This place is unreal. The whole city was so beautiful! The architecture is so detailed, you could stare at just the outside for hours!
