Two hours might be sufficient for some but not for my husband and me. Armed with our audio guide, there was so much to see; we simply drew breath. We will be returning and will probably set aside half a day. Then again, we will also have to set aside time for sitting outside one of the neighbouring cafes and... More

This is a beautiful Cathedral located in the heart of Burgos. Cost seven euro to enter. Allow about an hour to walk around and listen to the audio guide.

We traveled by car from Santiago de Compostella to San Sebastián and stayed the night in Burgos. The cathedral was beautiful. The signage was a bit confusing, however, an audio guide (included in the admission price) adequately assisted the visitor. The cathedral also houses a religious art and artifact exhibit in a separate space. The cathedral is also the reputed... More

Worth a visit if you like cathedrals. Deserves the UNESCO status. Not to expensive to get in and audio tour is included as part of the ticket.

If you love the real historical Spain, the one not crowded by tourists, where time does not move fast, you will enjoy this City and its monumental buildings. If you check their festivity calendar, you can enjoy many events in a magical surrounding.

We have visited many cathedrals in Europe. The richness and brightness of the art surpasses the ones I previously visited. The number of side chapels with each having incredible artwork kept us busy admiring the presentations. This cathedral is stunning with brilliant colors and relief wall paintings that are too intricate to describe. Everything looks like it was painted/sculpted yesterday.... More

We've been visiting the great cathedrals in the region. Salamanca, Leon, Zaragoza and now Burgos. Whilst they are all wonderful and each has something special about it, this cathedral is stunning. The dome is possibly the most amazing you will ever see. True genius. The side altars are spectacular in themselves and the hand held voice guide is excellent. Worth... More

One of the best cathedrals I have visited - even my husband didnt get bored. Definitely do the audio tour - incredibly interesting. There is so much to see, the grandeur of it is breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit.

Very popular with visitors. Lavishly decorated Cathedral with impressive windows, altar and organ. Worth a visit.

One of the most important in Spain. The style of the cathedral is the Gothic, but has other styles inside like decorative Renaissance and Baroque elements. The main facade is French Gothic style like the great ones of Paris and Reims. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. One of the main highlights is the tomb of the... More
