I was surprised to see that this chapel has its own TripAdvisor listing since it's one of many chapels, or separate rooms, inside the Burgos Cathedral. Considering that it's probably the most famous and is truly exquisite, I suppose it's understandable. It was definitely one of my favorites, particularly the ceiling! Just to clarify though, it's possible to enter the... More

This is the most famous chapel in the Burgos cathedral and made bij Simon van Keulen. This altar piece is not to miss.

This is what the Burgos guide book says: Also known as Capilla de la Purificacion, it stands on a site of an old chapel dedicated to Saint Peter...the only remnants of the old chapel are the tombs of... Incredible chapel inside the Cathedral. The entrance fee is included in the Cathedral entrance fee. Everything white and where the Condestables were buried.
