This is a church inside the cathedral. You won't be able to visit this place directly without visiting the cathedral. Most people spend to much time admiring the two statues in the center of the place. However, I would advice you to look on your left. You will certainly be the only one admiring a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci.... More

A chapel in Burgos cathedral has ornate grave of the Constables of Castile with impressive effigies, they ruled in place of the king. This would be part of a tour around the cathedral rather than a separate tour but is one of the attractions of the cathedral. If you don't like Gothic cathedrals then this won't interest you.

This chapel of the Cathedral is quite beautiful and has two tombs. These tombs were made of Carrara marble and belong to the Constable Don Fernandez de Velasco abd his wife Doña Mencia de Mendoza. These were sculpted by Felipe Vigarny.

I was surprised to see that this chapel has its own TripAdvisor listing since it's one of many chapels, or separate rooms, inside the Burgos Cathedral. Considering that it's probably the most famous and is truly exquisite, I suppose it's understandable. It was definitely one of my favorites, particularly the ceiling! Just to clarify though, it's possible to enter the... More

This is the most famous chapel in the Burgos cathedral and made bij Simon van Keulen. This altar piece is not to miss.

One of many beautiful chapels in Burgos Cathedral with beautiful marble sepulchres and majestic ceiling, altar, and paintings. What makes it unique? This is what the Burgos guide book says: Also known as Capilla de la Purificacion, it stands on a site of an old chapel dedicated to Saint Peter...the only remnants of the old chapel are the tombs of...
