This beautiful church is just up the steps from the very busy cathedral. It gives you a quiet place to collect your thoughts and pray. Such a nice contrast to the tourist infested cathedral.

I must say that after the Cathedral, I did not expect anything more. This is Church has the simple door like all others. I think it is the residence of the Bishop. When you go in, you are at awe at the centre piece. The...More

This church sits in the shadow of the cathedral and probably visited by few tourists. Very plain both inside and out with the exception of the alter that was carved from the same type stone as the pillars and walls. It's worth a short visit.

Compared to the nearby cathedral, this little church is very inconspicuous, but is equally worth a visit. Most of the artistic interest (it is also a functioning church) centres around the astonishingly intricate altarpiece. Depicting a vast range of biblical scenes, the altarpiece is sculpted...More

This is a beautiful little church, located next to the cathedral. It is "little" compared to its neighbor, but it is grand in its architecture and its awesomeness. The details of the alter wall stonework are spectacular. Do not miss this site!

The church in itself remains somewhat in the shadow of the cathedral, but its main altar is just beyond words. You have to see it, it's certainly worth the 2 euro donation for accessing it.

This little church is right behind the Cathedral and is worth seeing. It has a very ornate altar. Be sure to drop in for a visit.

The main altar in this church resembles a large tapestry, and this is very unusual. The church also has some very good paintings. One of them is of San Nicolas. There were also some very good tapestries.

Do not pass this church by-easily done as it is next to the cathedral. The interior is splendid but the main alter piece is unbelievably beautiful, perhaps this is what heaven is like. An absolute must to see.
